Did you uninstall the old FeralHeart first?

Also be sure to go to the user panel and reset your characters homes!

Try resetting your characters' homes and sending them home through the User Panel here (https://feral-heart.com/index.php?option=com_wrapper&view=wrapper&Itemid=55). This will send them to Lonely Cave which is a crash-free map for the most part.

You shouldn't have to if you still have it on your PC but make sure you are opening the patch 1.15 FeralHeart and not the old one.

Also check for any duplicate particle files that might have magically appeared in FeralHeart>media>particles
They'll appear as particle_0 or particle_1.

You could try changing your rendering subsystem from Direct3D9 to OpenGL and vice versa (if you are on OpenGL, switch to Direct3D9).
To change your rendering subsystem, look here (https://feral-heart.com/smf/index.php?topic=10423.msg144821#msg144821). About halfway down that post, it should give you some information on the two different methods to go about changing it. You can change it through the Options menu or through the ogre.cfg. Since your game is crashing, it might be in your best interest to change it through the ogre.cfg file. That post will explain both methods, but if you need help, feel free to continue asking us in this thread.

I already have, I remember that being a problem before, but thats also not the case.

Okay, try doing a complete uninstall and reinstall of the game. Make sure all FeralHeart folders on your PC are removed before you reinstall. I also recommend downloading a new setup file for this as well on the Download (https://feral-heart.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=23&Itemid=40) page.
