Game Discussion / Re: What Does a Username Tell You?
« on: November 28, 2015, 10:43:38 pm »
Usernames are fun to look at. But you can't really judge too harshly. There could be people who made an account a long time ago, and it might look silly. But memories and such are always attached to a username, which can be a reason why someone would still use something old.

I enjoy looking at usernames. But honestly, I love seeing character names. That's always interesting.

Game Discussion / Re: Warriors, OOC, and Whipped Cream.

Whelp. I'm not really a big Warrior Cat role player. I've joined a couple of them and they were alright. I have nothing against them.
How the capitalize their names, or what the name of their Clans is entirely up to them. As it should be. That's the beauty of FeralHeart, using your creativity to make characters you like. I personally don't mind the unique names, otherwise you would have people just reusing names (and some do). I myself can name off three of my characters that have unnatural -probably- WC names: Hollowshade, Ghostwhisper, and Shadowgaze. They probably aren't right but hey. I like 'em. They sound neat.

As for OOC, I don't mind it too much. I mean, if I'm in a role play and I log on that character like, four or five days in a row and all they do is OOC chat, I probably won't be in that role play long. If it's every now and again, that's totally fine. I've done that. But, I do like to have a little role play with some OOC chat mixed in. I think it's all just personal opinion, anyway.

..... I do like whipped cream though, good for you or not. Haha.

News Archives / Re: RIP General
« on: June 23, 2013, 04:37:04 am »
I really don't know...
I've been watching this thread since it came out and I'm not entirely sure how I feel about this change (although I haven't been able to actually get in game due to front server connection problems. But, that's besides the point).
Do I really like the change? No, not really. But, speaking from a personal perspective, I have never dealt with change well.

However, I've been seeing a lot of people bashing the Mods and blaming this person and that person. That's not the way to go and that won't bring General back. They do their jobs; they're Mods for a reason. And no, I'm not trying to cozy on up to the Staff members by saying that either. If they weren't doing what they're supposed to, there would be a lot more... Things going on and such that shouldn't be. You have to trust them, they are running this game for a reason. And I would think it's because they know what they're doing, even if it might appear that they don't from time to time.

At first, I was pretty upset with the change. But, I think I was more disappointed with the fact that it happened seemingly overnight without warning. I'm pretty sure that if there would have been some word about it, a warning -anything really- I would have been much more okay with it in the beginning.

With General gone, it will make advertising more difficult, however there are ways to do it. Movie spam will increase, no doubt. I've seen it a few times. But, it seems as though they are making due with what they have. And that's what I'm going to have to do. I will miss General, I really will. I've had my fair share of pleasant (and not so pleasant) conversations while hanging around on it.

But, things change. As a kitten always becomes a cat, and a puppy always becomes a dog, change is an inevitable part of life. You either need to accept it, or refuse. Live with it, or don't. There is really no grey area in this matter. Complaining and bashing, blaming others and arguing... It isn't the way to bring General back. I think what we need to do is pretty much what Raz stated. Sit back and see what happens. I'm sure that if the people like the Mods and Red see that it truly isn't working the way they wanted it to, they will change it back. There isn't much else to do. I'm going to have to go through it too. Perhaps it will better the game, perhaps it won't. We'll all just have to see.

The Floof-O-Meter.. Is like "Karma". When you do something good or whatnot, another member can "nuzzle" you to show their appreciation. You can start nuzzling people once you have hit 25 posts.
It doesn't change your forum experience at all, so it's not really all that crucial. But, it's a nice little meter thing.~

Just lovely.~ I like the subtle shading; it makes everything look so soft and just blend in perfectly.~ I like how the face has a happy grin on it, with the butterfly infront. Mixed with the grey, stormy background it's almost like... Er... Foreshadowing. I'm not sure if that's the right word I should have used there, but I think you get the idea. ^^"
Great job and good luck~ <3

In-Game Roleplay & Group Advertisement / The Hollowshire Wolves
« on: January 08, 2013, 06:44:56 am »
Greetings, all of Feral Heart!
What I have to offer you today is this: a mapped, literate, semi-realistic wolf pack RP. An RP sample will be required.

Now, the RP is currently not active, so to say. I am still in the process of finishing the map (which should be done very soon). However, I am posting here for anyone who may have an interest in this RP. There are two packs to choose from. The District Pack, run by myself, and the Eternity Pack, which is being ran by Devii.

On the forum, you will find a lot of information about this group, including a history for both packs, and a plot (found in the District Pack Information category).
If you are interested, find the Join Application in Roleplay Information>Applications.

I hope that there is some interest for this RP out there. If you don't wish to fill out the application (for whatever reason that may be), I will be advertising in Flourite as soon as the map is complete. Thank you for your time, if you read this. I hope the rest of your day/evening/night goes well.~

Presets & Markings / Re: Awesome Skeleton Preset
« on: January 08, 2013, 05:13:50 am »
Because I seen that you uploaded just the .fhp file.
And, if I'm correct, in order for other people to use it, you need to make a compressed file with the "preset_numberbody" ect. files, and that notepad file, than upload the zip file to like mediafire or whatnot.
The .fhp file just lets other people in the game see it. X3
I, of course, hope that if I am wrong, someone comes around and corrects me about it. ^^"

Ohh. I like it.~ To me, its got this sort of... Surreal aspect to it. I'm not sure if you planned it that way, but it deffinatly adds something to the piece. I like how the purple almost seems to glow with the black~ Good job and good luck~ <3
