Amazing job on the textures! These look beautiful!  ;D But I have a problem. I downloaded them, placed them in media > terrains > textures, and they show up among the the other terrain textures in the selection box normally during map maker. When I click on one of them to add to the map, they show up black. Do you have any ideas as to how to fix this? I really love these textures and I'd love to use them in my map. ((I'm a derp with technology  :P))

I will simply be modeling the base for the dog model, something I know how to do. Other Game designers on the forum will code, texture, etc.  It's fine if the GDs from Feralheart can't help, I understand. Anyways, thanks for the advice.

Nope, I will be creating entirely new models from scratch. No FeralHeart models or items will be used. I just need to know how the Feralheart models were created so that you could have interchangeable ears and stuff. Sorta like the format. I need someone to explain it. Sorry if I wasn't clear enough  :-\

Game Help / Help me with some models?

Hello, I know this might seem a little off-topic to be in the game help board, but I didn't really know where else to put it. If this needs to be moved elsewhere just please inform me before doing so that way I can find it again  :). Anyways, down to the subject. I've recently agreed to make some character models for a WIP stray dog MMORPG called Decoder Hounds (I think there's a thread about it in Other Games).  The game will have customizable characters in which you can change the ear type, tail type, and muzzle type to your liking. I kept on thinking about the models, how do I make models so that they can be editted in a character creator with different body parts, a lot like changing the ears or tail on your character in Feralheart. Do I need to have a specific format to be able to switch them out in-game? Or do I have to make a model for each different part? I use Sculptris to create models while I will get someone else to convert them into Blender.  I'd really, really appreciate it if someone could explain this to me.

Lugai, no.  Please, please no.  Don't do this to yourself. Life is always a challenge, but you must never, ever give up. Imangine all the people you will hurt if you go as well. Think of all the good things you've experienced. Are you willing to give those up, to never to see them again? Think into the future. You Only Live Once.

Username: barleydog
Character name: Mishanti
Character gender: Male
Desired pack: Dark ones
Desired rank: Apprentice
Activity level: 5/10 School is starting back up again :p
Character bio: I'm still figuring it out :)
Roleplay sample: Mishanti lifted his head to look at the broken landscape. Lava boiled up through cracks in the earth and the heavy scents of ash and coal hung in the air. "Home." He thought, his tail wagging with excitement. Mishanti traveled on with the warriors and several fellow apprentices into battle. His jaws ached to be biting into pure one flesh and his claws trembled to be raking down their sides. Soon the troop crossed into pure one territory. Mishanti could see their bright pelts flashing between the trees. "This is it." Mishanti thought as he charged forward with his pack into battle.

I already joined the site as Clay just so you know :)
