Many years ago, the prides were one. All the lions of the great Kanu valley hunted together in peace. It all ended when two brothers clashed, costing one his life. Those sympathetic to the dead brother left the Kanu pride and created their own, going to live on the other side of the river. They began to call themselves the Kiwa Pride. Many generations have passed this way, with one half on one side of the river and one half on the other. Things are due to change again, and soon. The Kiwa are running out of prey to hunt, but their king refuses to seek help from the young king of the Kanu. What's worse, some of the Kanu lions are doubting their king's abilities. They wonder if his inexperience and youth will cause him to make poor decisions for the pride. Meanwhile a pack of hyenas grows stronger as the prides quarrel. What will happen to the Kiwa as they begin to starve? Will the young king prove his worth, or will his inexperience be his downfall? Or will the hyenas overthrow them and rule the valley themselves? Fantasy- Odd markings and winged lions are totally allowed. There is also room for supernatural powers, as long as they're reasonable.

We have two lion prides, called Kanu and Kiwa, and a hyena pack.
Lions, hyenas, and a few other African predators are allowed.
Rules1. Be respectful of anyone and everyone. If there's a problem alert a staff member.
2. Watch your language. A curse here and there is fine, but don't overdo it.
3. Please be active.
4. Be as literate as you can.
5. The rp and all its content must be PG-13 or milder. Please keep that in mind.
6. Don't kill or seriously wound another character without their player's permission.
7. No taking over other characters without permission or creating invincible characters. That's just rude.
