Site/Forum Help / Nothing Updating == Metal Need Help ;-;

Okie. So let me go waaaayyyy back to where it first started. Well not way back, but to yesterday. A simple time when I could just click on Show New Replies To Your Posts and it would do as I wanted.

So I didn't have my laptop yesterday due to the fact that I left the charger at my work. Bleh. So I used my girlfriend's laptop -- even though she had work to do e3e -- and I got onto FeralHeart's forum. When I did what I usually do, which is scroll the forum and look for stuff, it was fine.

Now let's skip to today. I finally got my laptop charger and went to log into my FeralHeart account on the forum. When I went to click below the "Hello FullMetal" and on the "Show new replies to your posts" it switched to my old profile picture and showed no new posts, which was odd because I knew I had new replies to my posts. Then I tried it again and got the same results -- old profile picture and no new replies.

That's not normal and I have proof! I scrolled down the forum home page and found new replies to my threads. So what is going on with my FeralHeart forum account??

Alright, before any of you post and say : "No, Metal, Senpai! It's against the rules to post about your ban complaints even though no one will listen to you either way!" Alas, I'm not posting about that old subject -- I call out to the ones who have gotten lost in the Feral Heart Bad World.

Now I've just scrolled down the Help section and a few of the threads have caught my eyes. Why? Well because I'm in the same situation as most of you. I need help. Not just in my head, but on the forums. Though messaging a staff member would be the right thing to do, most of you users do not. I'm here to answer your questions ... Message a staff anyway.

Even if it seems like they don't reply, they do see your message. You all must understand that being a staff member on here must be really hard. You have to deal with the member's problems, bad users, etc. So you're probably wondering why I've decided to jump to this subject and raise hell, but it's nothing like that. I simply want to say that the help you members want is there. So don't give up! A staff member will reach you in time.

A couple of my friends left the forum because they complained about how the staff never helped them with their problems, but they never waited long enough to get a friggin' reply. Tsk, tsk. You users must realize that the staff here have lives as well, so please -- don't take your frustration out on your keyboard when the staff don't reply immediately.

If this helps, then let me know, but if it does not -- shoot me. e3e

=== I got your backs staffers. x'3

Alright, well I had the most weirdest dream yesterday and it did involve zombies. My favorite cannibals. e3e Anyhow, I woke up out of fright and reached over to grab something to defend myself -- when I did, my girlfriend woke up laughing at what was in my hand.

Embarassed isn't the half of what I was feeling. I had a picture of our daughter in my hand. x'3 I couldn't believe myself, but it was one of those dreams where you have to wake up and grab something.

So I wondered. Whereever you are all at, if a zombie was coming at you, what's the first thing you have to your right? That'd be your defense. Post what you happen to have on the right of you and let me know if your defense is any better than mine.

Forum Discussion / How Much Feral Can You Handle?

Due to the recent hacking of my account, I haven't been able to enter the wonderful world of Feral Heart, but believe me -- your Stone Bridge Reviver will be back with in a few weeks. My real reason for posting this is because I want to know how much Feral you can handle? Think of it as a small game. e3e

I'll be the one to start. You basically post how much, in percentage %, you love Feral Heart. Then give a reason why you love it so much or why you dislike it so much. The most logical reason will be picked by me. Then it'll be mentioned in my signature section, along with your username beside it.

As they said in Hunger Games .. L E T   T H E   G A M E S   B E G I N !

90 %

"I love how the whole game is set up. The role-playing is epic, along with the users who play."

- Do not power-play. Even though this is a forum role-play, I really dislike power-playing. It takes the fun out of it.

- Cursing makes it better? I'm a fan of the usual curse words, but if you do say a certain censored word that the staff dislike then it will have to be replaced with another, less vulgar, word.

- If it's not broke, don't fix it. The number of role-players that I've met are all literate, but then again, some are not. This role-play is at least to have one paragraph from each user. No phrases or tiny sentences. This is the big leagues, so straighten up!

- Stick to the topic. It's normal for each user to have a few OCCs, but please, the topic is called Life In The Deep, not Random OCCs. Try to keep it at a minimum.

- No god-mods in my role-plays. If you're a staff member that happens to join, then big whoop -- but if I find out about a normal user impersonating a staff, they'll be kicked from the role-play and reported.

- Big Fonters. Please, I beg of you. You may use small fonts, but no BIG FONTS for the whole paragraph.

Well that's all of em'. Try to follow these rules ---- W A I T ! There is one more rule. e3e Have Fun.

First, the rules will be posted. So don't think this is a free get-away. x'3 Click me to get to the rules.

The sound of faint grass could be heard in the distance, crackling. While the night breeze slithered through the hollow dens nearby, causing a lonely howl to immerse and break the silence. These noises were nothing, but the usual in the land of Mourn. The decades that grew to make the land become so barren had been the same time that changed the locals who had resided on the land. With not many sources of food, one would go insane -- which is what was done most of the time. A small brownish rabbit darted through the half-dead forest, not stopping for anything. His aqua hued irises quickly scanned the area with each footstep he took. When he finally slid to a halt, it appeared that the air had grown thin. He could just feel the distant treading coming closer to him. Then it all became dead silent.

His right auditory flickered a bit, the anxious feeling slithering up his spine. He focused his attention on the ground, before a presence could be felt not too far away from him. When he finally fixed his attention on what was behind him, his optics met with a dark tinted brute wolf. The loner parted his jaws apart, almost looking as if he was about to chomp on the little bunny -- but he did not. Instead, he began to cackle loudly, in his usual low and scratched pitch. "It looks as if you were too slow, again, Thoko." The rabbit's blue orbs rolled a bit, before words began to flow from his trap as well. "I wouldn't have been slow if you knew how to use your legs.. Damond, we'll never survive like this-" The canine cut him off, as he was speaking, almost to hush him. "Alas, my young friend, we have been surviving like this and we will continue to do so.. at least before we start eating each other." The thought just made Damond laugh hysterically, though it only made Thoko wince a bit.

The two seemed like an odd pair, a rabbit and a massive wolf, but it was as if they both needed each other. Thoko was Damond's familiar, as was Damond to him. The two's figures began to disappear into the depths of a cave mouth.

My wittle' Monti. :D

Age - Cub. Survived for three months.

Son of - Lokiru & Unknown Mother

Personality - When confronted with a dire situation, Monti always likes to find the fun way out of things. His charming actions are usually noticed by adults, being called "cute" or "adorable" at most times. He's found a way to put the not-knowing-his-mother situation behind him, feeling there was no need to be so glum about it. He's very fond of his father, being a very obedient cub when Lokiru is around. His friends are what he treasures the most, seeing them as a few of his role models.

Located in - Bonfire Island

Sladen, my famously known character. e3e

Age - Adult. Survived for four years and one month.

Son of - Mortikai & Shila

Personality - Sladen has always been a brute with a calm nature. Ever since he was a cublet he's never freaked out in tough times. Though, since he is expecting cubs soon, his nerves have strained more. He can handle many things at once, with his pride and family -- not including defending his territory from intruders. His overall persona is very stern and serious. He'd never want to waste the time joking around when there's danger all around him.

Located in - Flourite Plains

My little devil, Damond.

Damond's Familiar Thoko. Cute, but not cuddly. c'x

Why hello strangers and friends. My name is -- well my player name is Metal. In reality, like most of you, I do have a life which is why I spend so much of it with a game. Makes sense, right? Well, here is why I vent my problems into FeralHeart. I love to role-play and I have been doing it for over six years, on forums, games, etc. I have always been a fan of lions and wolves, so when I found FeralHeart, I knew I would be having some fun. My daughter had just been born on May 2nd, and I do plan on showing her what her daddeh spent his years doing. QuQ A life-time well spent. Though I am just a year from being twenty, I do plan on sticking with FeralHeart for as long as I can.

I suffer from over-flowing muse, so if anyone has open ideas on role-playing then let me know. I'm open to all kinds of suggestions. Oh -- I should go on about myself. My favorite color? Hmm, this may be weird for a guy, but maroon is my main color. As for foods, pizza of course. Those wittle' pepperonis are the bomb. I have two dogs, but one of them was just bought last month. The older one is a Burmese Mountain Dog and the puppy is a boxer. I love them both very much. Well, I can't say too much about myself, being that I don't know much that anyone would be interested in.

In the land of Mourn - a barren landscape with not much food or water - there are many species that take the form of life. It's when night time comes that a small herd can be found just outside the land's borders. That's the time when everyone hunts, the prey is food or another local creature. Now, times have changed and the sightings of food have become more scarce. Legends of an unlimited supply of food on a distant mountain top have been spread over the land, but would you be willing to die for it? The path is a dangerous one, but to live in peace is what everyone dreams of. When you're fighting for your life, killing anything is an option. What if that option wasn't made by you?

What's the role-play even about to you?

I think of it as a survival kind of a role-play since the  main point is getting either you or your family to safety while being cautious on the way there. I know since my character, Damond, will be playing an insane loner. The world that they live in is crumbling slowly, but some can fix it in time.

Where will it be held?

I was thinking about hosting it here, if that's alright. Anyone is free to join and it can be quite fun once it gets good.

Are there any certain qualities?

I don't ask for much. Any species of animal is invited. I do ask that you don't just post one small phrase as a role-play post. I do ask for at most a paragraph.

When will this be starting?

As of today, the final touches have been made, so when the thread is posted you may all join in if you want. I'll be making the thread soon.
