Storyline
     In Pandemic Laboratories, one developer has recently designed brand new gaming equipment that completely transfers the user into a wide spread alternate reality called Endless Dreams. This game is completely based of the user's dreams and how they perceive a paradise. Something we have always wanted, a never ending dream with anything able to happen. However, people have reportedly gone missing right after testing this simulation game. The details and process are unknown, but Pandemic Laboratories have claimed to have taken care of the situation and compensating families for mysterious deaths after trying out the game. The original director of the game has also reportedly gone missing, leaving to belief that this virtual game is consuming others into it's clutches.

IC Rules and Mechanics

1. No one is allowed to leave the emulation. If any attempts are made, the user will be terminated on the spot.
2. Break sessions will be initiated throughout game play though as the user will be allow to return to reality for a short   time, around once every two weeks. This may span from a few days, to a couple of hours to perform server maintenance. Players are required to stay in the designated chamber areas with each other during this time.
3. Abide by the rules of the current game ruler. They have numerous followers under there care that won't hesitate to kill.
4. A death in the game results in death in the normal world. Be cautious when playing.
5. Each player has a special ability or power, however there is a limit to this. Depending on the intensity, it may require from 1-10 uses before the user's energy gauge is depleted. If the gauge is completely depleted, the user may also experience death.
6. Monitoring hours are from 9 am. to 9 pm. Every player is closely monitored by staff during these hours and may delete a character on the spot if they pose a rebellious threat to the game. Any time after these hours, the monitors are left unwatched.
7. PvP (Player vs Player) combat is allowed and is not in any form despised by the creators. If a user kills another, they will simply ignore it.
8. NPCs are scattered throughout the game in many different forms. Some are said to be former players and others remote controlled by the creators. Most do not do much other then attack if an enemy or repeated the same few lines in a monotone voice.

OOC Rules:

1. No killing other players without the user's permission. NPC deaths are fine though.
2. Violence and Cursing is allowed, but don't abuse this privilege.
3. I would prefer no sexual interactions, but if you must, do not be very descriptive in this...

Game Help / Question for Preset Coders! - Is there any possible way to make a scrolling...

So my question is...

Is there any possible way to make a scrolling texture transparent? I was having trouble with this when i was trying to make my gaia preset wings.





This is what happens when I load it on the game. I made sure the scrolling texture was black but to no avail, still fails. I tried for hours trying to change the code and the only difference i ever got was the black turning white. I'll post the code im using below if it helps as well.

preset_6equip.png is the branch that's the rim of the wing and the other texture is made up of the small petals. If anyone can figure this out, i will love you forever since i want to use something similar for my next preset!

Game Discussion / Can't their be more items on characters?! - Somewhat of a rant

Ever have that moment when you downloaded a bunch of item for a certain character only to find out you can't use all the ones you need? I'm not saying to like to overload your character, but more specifically with those item packs that come in parts. For example, many bracelets only can be put on as a single item and if you want one on each paw, well that's all you can put on them. I find it extremely aggravating especially when i try to make certain characters and especially the raptor claws and spine parts. >.< I'm usually forced to have one awkward claw or an incomplete spine that just looks funky.

I can understand, yes more items can lag the game and i get it. But will one or two slots more really hurt? On many impressive servers, you can have up to eight or nine items on at a time! (A main reason why i started playing on them more). Last time I checked, FH was its predecessor! Why can't we equip just a few more? *Sigh* Does anyone else agree on this?



P.s.: Just one more little problem i see with items. I'll see pics on DA of these amazing wearable meshes. But when I go to the description, it says PRIVATE USE ONLY. Just like... what the heck? No one can even see the item if they don't have it so what would be it's point? O.o Idk it just feels like I got trolled when that happens...

Alright, i'll admit it. I'm a bit lazy to search for hours though the forum for meshes i know are here. I gathered up some i remember where i retrieved them from for my dungeon/laboratory map, though there is a few i know i still need.


 - Jail door
 - Prison bed? (I think iv'e seen one somewhere...)
 - Blood stains
 - Guillotine (Don't think ive seen one but it would be pretty cool.)
 - Weapons
 - Any other scary meshes you can think of.

   I was browsing a bit through fh and saw that many people had art galleries of there own up here. So I thought, what e hell, why not show some of my own? And thus the creation of this thread was born.


NOTE: These are my own original characters and designs! I do not use others works as my own and I hope everyone will show the same respect for artists and refrain from claiming my work. I mean really, who does that?

Paradox - One tailed

This is one of my few good digital art pieces i made in gimp. If you dont know about this character, its one of my two symbolic fursonas i guess you could call them and I actually have a thread with his vast description in the character contest section. Paradox represents the fears, sadness and pain i've felt accumulated throughout the years. The right column is a list of words in Japanese kanji I associate with him and the left top is a latin translation (the language he speaks in) of the bottom portion. I never see him as true evil though, since every harmful deed has a chain of history that triggered it.






Arkanis

Similar to Paradox, Arkanis is the other half of my character but stands for the opposite. Happiness, justice and tranquility. I'm a bit hesitant to elaborate on the origins of these two because of my situation at the time, but both creatures came out of a dream/nightmare. On his foreleg are the kanji for the words, "Dream" and "Illusion". Paradox also has similar markings that say "Nightmare" and "Reality", but are invisible to most.

The actual form of Paradox. I mainly use this form only in rps though.






Tao - Wolf Clone Experiment

History: After Kage's actual son had passed during a fight with Paradox, he sought after something to replace a burning pain that was in him. When visiting the site of his son's death, he collected a sample of blood that was from the demon's imprisioner and began research to get his revenge on the creature. Near the end of his research, he found a willing participant for his experiment, a lone albino wolf pup who stumbled upon his path. At such a young age, he looked up blindly to Kage as a father figure, believing he underwent the experiment to cure a fake illness he had. In the experiment, he gained a human form as well as some fierce abilities. For most of his childhood, he was force to spend his days training and fighting so his 'father' could exact his revenge, though he was care for as if he was his own child. When the time came for Tao to fulfill his destiny to kill paradox, the two fought brutally, though the wolf was the one who had a near death experience. His right foreleg was severed from his body and the once innocent pup was left out in the winter's cloak alone. The wolf has recovered from that gruesome fight on his own and refuses to follow under anyone's shadow since, though he still will crawl back to Kage out of loneliness and desperation.






Slaterift - Main Warrior Cats OC

Slaterift is usually what warrior I was in warrior rps. I hadn't really thougt about what he looked like or his past until now. I'll provide a bit of bio.
     He was born into Evanescent Clan (One of my made up clans), a band of rogue. exiled or former kittypet cats that inhabit the dangerous streets of the twolegs. He was son to the leader, Ravagedstar and a kittypet named Myska. He was the runt of a litter of nine and was nicknamed crow since his siblings always teased her would be crowfood in his condition. Since he wasn't full clan blood, his father shunned him for much of his life, leaving his mother to look after him. Though the two legged owners refused to want to keep the liter of kittens, so when they were around apprentice age, they were taken to a pound. All of his siblings were adopted by new owners quickly, except for him. Because he was the runt of the litter and had a broken back leg, no one had the patience or kindness to care for the weak cat. On the day he was supposed to be put the rest, he luckily escaped the two legs's clutches and roamed around the city, looking for a haven of escape. Particularly, his father's clan. When he had found him, he was informed by his father himself that he was too weak to be apart of their clan and was chased out of the boundaries. The young cat then began his life in solidarity, escaping to the forest. He had to teach himself all the skills that warriors would be taught by trial and error. When he became fairly akin to the life as a rogue, a stranger approached his path and quickly pinned him down, thinking he was a clan cat. After talking, Crow learned about the she cat grey Persian, Havenfeather and that she was a loner like him, banished from her clan. The two quickly became well acquainted and soon set out to make there own clan that would take in all cats like them and would bring peace among the clans. They would come themselves AstralClan and told all outsiders that they were the real StarClan that would guide all cats to peace, through destruction of all other clans. Havenfeather came to be known as Havenstar and Crow was deemed the first part of his name referring to starting with a clean slate and rift to remind him of the pain he had gone through that others would feel if he couldn't unite them all under AstralClan, all cats would stay in the boundless rift of hatred and war.

Can chu feel the love tonight? x3 Two more kittehs. Sagewind is the her clan leader's eldest daughter and medicine cat. Galewhisper was a kittypet the clan took in a long time ago after finding him stranded alone in the forest at a young age.

Game Help / Transparent scrolling preset texture appears black?

The other day I got this idea for a preset. But in order to finish it, I need a bit of help. See, my goal was to have a wing texture that had one main part that was fixed and another that looks more like particles coming from it. I followed one of the tutorials for scrolling textures and it worked, but behind it will not appear transparent. It will be either white or black. I made sure the image was the appropriate size and had transparency enabled. If someone could help  would greatly appreciate it. I'll post one of the wing codes below:

Game Help / [[Marking Help]] Is it possible to add more custom eye markings in-game?

   Recently, I got a comment on my deviantArt asking if I could see what I could do in making an eye marking pack for my vast collection of naruto eye presets. I surfed the forum and figured out to add body, head and tail markings, but nothing about eye markings. I believe this is because you could never add eye markings in Impressive title, so it must be a newer feature. I tried the same method but to no success, the game crashed on me. I know it isn't the texture since I converted them and they worked perfectly fine when I replaced the default game textures with mine on on my test version of FeralHeart. If someone could play help me look into this dilemma, I would greatly appreciate it and make sure to inform others who wish to make similar packs as mine. And kudos to anyone who figures this out. I searched the files for what seemed like an hour.

Stoyline          

     Long ago, the world was run by many species. The most notorious, were wolves. They quickly earned their place perched at the peak of other species and reigned for thousands of moons under Sygma. That is, until the arrival of the humans. Outraged by the rule of these wolves, they began a centuries old struggle that would be carried to this day. Both species suffered many causalities due to this war, the ratio leaning to more wolves injured as the humans evolved. Shaken by the the increasing death toll of his kin, Sygma marched alone one summer's eve night to  confront the menace alone. The Rex demanded a stop to this violence from the humans. The people were selfish though, not wavered by the canine's offers. Angered by the humans' ignorance, Sygma finally snapped lashed out at the group with the incredible force of deities and was said to have ended as many lives as he had seen of his brethren fall. But there were still too many. The mighty wolf had fallen, on the verge of his slain. Those who witnessed the sight said before his death, brilliant colors radiated from his body and left him as a stoned statue. Sygma had vowed that he would never let his kin die in such a struggle again and is said to have blessed four wolves with one of his great notable powers to protect them.

   After the death of the great wolf, the two species lived a short lived era of peace. Each wolf gifted with one of Sygma's great traits later on taught their descendants the same powers that were blessed to them. The peace of mind seemed like it would carry on for an indefinite period of moons to come, though this wasn't the case.Wolves who did not possess these powers became envious and fearful. The wolves with powers were slapped with the term 'Mygma' and thought of as the cursed mixed race; many did not even consider them wolves." The Mygma were shunned from the many wolf packs that divided out of fear and hatred. Not long after, the Mygma began to follow the ordinary wolves' footsteps and engulfed in war with each other. The gruesome war took place for moons, causing much grief and rivalries to be forged. Though the war is has subsided much from its climax, any movement could ignite the flames once again.


Terrain

The land layout is fairly similar to the map I found below. Please note that there is no definite boundaries at the moment. They key just represents which wolves are native to which regions. Any type of wolf may be found in any region.


Key:
  • Caelum: Air
  • Ardor:   Fire
  • Terra:   Earth
  • Mare:   Water


Playable Classes          

  Wolf: The natural wolf grown up in a normal environment. These wolves possess no powers, but may have a high attribute such as speed strength or stamina even above the Mygma.

   Mygma: The wolves from the bloodline of one of the four gifted with Sygma's powers. It is said each have a close relationship spiritually with the great rex himself and the heavens. Their are four main classes that make up these wolves; Caelum, Ardor, Terra and Mare.
  • Caelum - The wolves of the wind. Theses wolves generally have the trait of high agility. The powers of this clan may include any of the following: Flight, wing mutations, Heightened senses and speed, time like abilities, such as seeing the past or future through visions and wind related abilities.
  • Ardor - The wolves of the flames. Theses wolves' signature trait is passion and determination.The powers of this clan may include any of the following: Control of various plasma, ability to withstand extreme temperatures, changing physical form into a non living substance and fire related abilities.
  • Terra - The wolves of the earth. These wolves have mighty strength and brute force. The powers of this clan may include any of the following: Shape-shifting, animal mutations(excluding wings), healing properties and earth related abilities.
  • Mare - The wolves of the waves. These wolves have a high intellect and psychological skills. The powers of this clan may include any of the following: Extreme cold immunity, ability to stay submerged for longs periods of time, hallucinations/illusion manipulation and water related abilities.
* There are more than four, but those Mygma would more correctly be placed under the term 'Hybrida' or are forbidden.*

   Hybrida: More simply named 'Hybrids', the Hybrida are a mix of any two dissimilar wolves such as being from a normal wolf and Ardor Mygma, to a Caelum Mygma and Mare Mygma. Theses wolves are frowned upon by most Mygma and absolutely hated by normal wolves. Few Mygma will ever even approach this kin due to it's cursed nature.
  
  • Paedor - The 'Filth' or 'Dirt' Hybrida. These are wolves that are the offspring of two different classes, such as a normal wolf and a Mygma, a Mygma and a Hybrida, etc. Theses are the most hated type of Hybrids, but the most common. Even attacked by other Hybrida sometimes, theses wolves usually have the most extraordinary, but uncontrolled gifts and powers.

  • Sylva - Terra and Mare Hybrida
  • Virus - Ardor and Caelum Hybrida
  • Harena - Terra and Caelum Hybrida(Forbidden)
  • Adamas - Mare and Ardor Hybrida (Forbidden)
  • Glacies - Mare and Caelum Hybrida
  • Cinis - Ardor and Terra Hybrida

Rules and Guidelines        


Appropriate Language and Behavior:
This roleplay is meant to be kept friendly. Repeated swearing is not allowed. Any inappropriate subjects and actions will be monitored and possibly erased, leading to punishment. Not everyone likes a lot of blood, gore, swearing and stuff like that, so please be mindful and respectful.


Fighting:
Be friends and respect each other. Hate the character, not the person roleplaying that character! Getting along makes everyone happy, and I don't appreciate seeing out-of-character arguing and fighting among our group. Friendly plot debates are fine though, if they aren't meant as an offense to another member.


Mary Sues/Gary Stues:
Your character isn't the most beautiful and perfect person in the universe. If any Mary-Sues/Gary Stues are sighted in an application or roleplay post, your character will be turned down and you will be excluded from this group. Whether your character is male or female, they are not the best and are not a god.


Character Limit:
There is no exact limit set yet on characters. There must obviously be a minimum of one. How many you have is on you, you must be able to manage all of them. No exceptions, although others may temporarily play as that character.


Romance:
Romance is allowed, though it is to be kept at a stable level, nothing more than that. Any levels higher will not be tolerated. What definitely isn't aloud is any sort of sexual activity, kinda a no brainer, but it has happened... If you wish to, do it privately through pms or something. We don't to see ridiculous stuff like that! :(


Be Descriptive:
Please try to be descriptive on your posts and applications. Laziness is not tolerated. If one has writers' block a minimum of 3 sentences is mandatory though I encourage you all to go above and beyond.

Spamming:
Spamming is not allowed, period.
