Feral Heart

Neios is a rare type of species found in deserts and close to any oceans. Neioses are small cats, smaller than the mid size. Their pelt is normally mid gray, light gray or dark gray. Sometimes but very rarely there is an albino born (about 2/150 chances). Females have ocelot head, toeless socks and fading stripes on the tail. Females are lighter gray than males, their markings are normally blue, yellow, black and sometimes white. They always got black circles around the eyes. They also have cheeck tufts and different manes (no full or half manes for females though). Males are darker gray and a bit taller than the females. They have the same markings but on the body markings they have striped legs. They normally have any half mane which is about the same colour as their underfur which is always ligter than the pelt. Once two Neioses get together as mates, they stay together for the rest of their lives. A litter can have 1-4 cubs.


Water:   They don't mind swimming, but they'd rather avoid water. They will swim if they are forced (e.g. if they are chased by a predator).
Land:    Neioses are fast runners and this is their favourite activity. They can run for very long distances. They can jump really high as well.
Trees:    Neioses are good at climbing trees but they don't do it often as they live on beaches and small islands.
Sand:    Sand is the terrain that they like the most. Their paws are created in a special way, so that the sand does not slow them down.


Neioses eat small mammals like mice, rats or rabbits. Because they can jump high, they also sometimes eat birds but only if they can't find anything else to eat.


P.S.  The colours of the pelt and underfur on all of those pictures are there as examples. The female is my character. The colour of their eyes is up to you, but it should be fire/ring/black. I will try to upload pictures later because now my internet refuses to co-operate with me. :*
