(Pride name; meaning "Rock" Pride. Our territory is rather rocky.)

Introduction:

Welcome! The Mwamba Pride is a group of partly realistic lions. This, meaning; that lions must look realistic; however, slight differences are alright, such as a bit more golden-yellow, or perhaps a bit darker then usual, or they may even have some faint(rather realistic) markings. If your lion isn't too realistic, Mistsky will ask if you could just change that a bit. You can also ask if you have any questions.

The Mwamba Pride also has their own map; the link to it is further onwards.

And remember; please follow our rules if you join!

Rules:

1. Please be respectful and kind to each and everyone.

2. No rude, mean, inappropriate, or bad things are allowed at all! Please try to keep everything PG. There are no exceptions to this rule; not even indirectly mentioning something like this, or saying it differently.

3. Your character cannot do everything correctly. They will have to make mistakes, sometimes. And please do not power-play; or, in other words, say something automatically happens to another character which you do not roleplay. You can say you tried to do something, however. (And do not always dodge what the other characters do; or that would not be following the first part of this rule).

4. You are allowed to roleplay as many characters as you can manage. However, please be active with each of them, or you may be asked to roleplay them more frequently.

5. Please do not roleplay others' characters. Since it would be hard, you can roleplay any of your characters inside FeralHeart without having to switch over to them(though you may if you would like).

6. Please try to keep everything mainly realistic. Yes, there may be a few things not quite so; but you can't have any powers, or other unrealistic things.

7. Please at least come on or post once every month and a half. If not, your character will be moved to the "Inactive Characters" list, and not be considered a part of the pride anymore. If you come back, they will be allowed to join once more; however, if you had an important rank, it will have been lost.

8. Remember not to yell at anyone if they happen to annoy you. Try talking nicely to them.

9. Our characters age in this roleplay. Slowly, though, once your lion is fully grown. However, your character will at least eventually become an elder, if you would still want to keep roleplaying them.

10. We mainly roleplay inside the FeralHeart game. There will be some times where we can just roleplay on our map, and other times where we can roleplay out a plot. If you have plot ideas, feel free to ask Mistsky about them! We may occasionally roleplay here; though not that often.

11. You do not have to roleplay if you would not like; though, roleplaying is a large part of this pride. Pride members can also go on our map for fun and exploring, without having to roleplay.

12. In roleplay, it would be best not to challenge a pride leader's decision; although you are welcome to, your character may be in trouble.

13. When roleplaying, please try to have correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation. When your character talks, please put it in quotation marks; "such as these".

14. You are allowed to roleplay any animal found in the pride's territory(ask Mistsky if you are uncertain). Though, you can't join the actual pride, with the exception of a few; you can roleplay as a loner, however.

15. Have fun! More rules may be added if needed.

Ranks and Form For Joining:

Ranks-

Very important;

King- The King leads the pride along with the Queen. He may make decisions for the pride, along with the Queen's agreement. The King also can make sure each Pride member is correctly doing their rank. He may also send out patrols.

Queen- The Queen leads the pride along with the King. She may make decisions for the pride, along with the King's agreement. The Queen also can make sure each lion is doing their rank correctly. She is also allowed to send out patrols.

Heir- The heir to the pride is the next one to become King/Queen. They are usually a lion somehow related to the King or Queen; though, they may not have to be. The Heir does not have to do anything other than learn what they will eventually be in charge of, though is allowed to send out patrols, and even lead them.

Royal Family- The "Royal Family" is made up of the current Queen's and King's cubs. They have jobs, just like the others; but can also arrange patrols.

Important;

Lead Rank- The Lead Ranks are 'leader' of their rank. They will manage their rank and lead it. Other rank members are to listen to what this rank says, provided the Lead Rank does not go against what the King and Queen said. Lead Ranks also are to make sure that each Trainee of their rank is mentored properly by another lion, in the same rank. They will test the trainee, and when they are ready to become fully-ranked(no longer a trainee), the Lead Rank will talk to the King and Queen.

Helpful Ranks;

Cub-Protectors- The Cub-Protectors are quite important to the pride. They make sure that the cubs, and trainees are safe. They will protect them if there is danger, and make sure they don't venture off too far, or hurt themselves. The Cub-Protectors are to talk to the King or Queen if a cub or trainee is in trouble, as in both danger-wise, and troublesome-wise.

Battlers- The Battlers protect the pride in times of battle. They usually are strong lions, so that they can protect the pride more easily, though it is not required they are. When there is no danger, a Battler will find either help the Guards, join in with the Hunters, or patrol the territory.

Guards- The Guards also protect the pride, like the Battlers; except they will not join them in battle. Their main job is to guard the camp's(meaning; main den's) entrance and stay nearby in case an intruder were to come along. They are also to go with the Patrollers when they are out patrolling; and protect them if they come across a lion not part of the pride. One or two Guards may also go along with the Hunters, to make sure they are alright, or with the King, Queen, or Heir, if  asked.

Hunters- These are the lions which find food for the pride. They should bring back at least one thing that the pride may eat if they go out. They will usually go out in groups together. Hunters should not go out to find something only for themselves, if they have not yet found something for the pride.

Patrollers- The Patrollers,(perhaps known by "Scouts" in other prides/packs) are the lions which patrol the Mwamba Pride's territory. They make sure there aren't any intruders. They do not, however, battle off the intruder if there is one; though they will ask them to leave.

Other Ranks;

Trainees- Those young lions, from the ages of 6 to 7 months(also known by 'moons') to 2 and a half years, which are training in their rank. They will have a mentor which will teach them what they should know, or be tested by their Lead Rank. The King and Queen will decide when a trainee is ready to become fully-ranked. Note that these lions age a bit faster than the other ones do; so that they are not stuck as trainees for years(unless someone would want that). Trainees cannot, however, train to be Subordinates;(see later on) they must train to be an actual rank.

Cub-Mothers- Female lions which have cubs, or will soon. They care to their cubs, and others, if another Cub-Mother is away for the moment, or if a cub does not have anyone to care for them.

Cubs- Those young lions under the age of 6 or 7 months. Their main job is to have fun and learn what rank they will want to train for once they become a trainee.

Subordinates- Lions which do not really have a rank in the pride. They choose to instead help other ranks, doing what they might want to. They at least must have some knowledge on what they are doing, however. They are, though, trained in one rank; as trainees cannot have trained to be a Subordinate. They are welcome to go back to their rank if wanted.

Elders- Lions from about the age of 9 years, and up. There may be a few lions younger than 9 years that are elders, however; though healthy lions should become an elder around the time stated. They can tell stories to young lions, and mainly do what they want; though they do not have to do their rank any more.

No Ranks;

Loners- Lions currently not a part of the pride. They may have previously been; or have always never been a pride member. If found on pride territory, they will be in trouble. (Note: Though loners aren't a member of the pride; they can join our In-Game FeralHeart group; as they are technically a part of the roleplay; just not the pride.)
