Hmm, I would suggest checking your Heightmap & Terrainmask files aswell.
Make sure the Maps CFG & Material Files are intact within their Correct location.
I rarely have this Problem. However, I'll be sure to check back later & Update this if I find more Suggestions. cx

The Litterbox is a Map hidden within Feral City. That might be why you can't find it. xD
Hmm..I haven't had that problem with the Textures..
However, Emma. If you see my Character "StarTheParanoia" in Feral City I'll show you where the Litterbox is.

I think that would be a Splendid addition to Bonfire.
Perhaps the Local Chat wouldn't go by so Fast if they were further apart.
That's why I don't go to Bonfire anymore, Everyone is so close together which makes it Lag like Crazy. {Hence the Nickname "Lagfire".} xD

You can always reset your Character if you were in Fluorite Plains before you logged off.
But I can agree, Choosing what Location your character enters the Game in would be a Great option.
However, I'm kind of thinking this would make Portals less used, All you would have to do is log out and Edit your Character.
Hmm, Perhaps a Pros & Cons list would be Suitable for this Suggestion.
Pros:
Choosing where your Character's Location is upon entering the Game.
Easier way to get around the Maps. {Not that the Portals are a Problem.}
More Efficient way to get to other Maps that are a bit harder to find.
Cons:
Would the Portals still be used? This would make them slightly useless.
If we had that Option the Maps like Atlantis & Last Cave wouldn't be an Adventure-ish Journey to get to them..It would be boring since they are meant to be Hidden it seems.
Wouldn't it get tiring to click "Edit Character" every time you wanted to change Locations? Speaking that the Portals wouldn't be used often.
{I'll most likely think of more Pros & Cons later then Update.}

I couldn't help but notice this while scrolling through the Forums.
Sadly some individuals that play this Game are Immature & Will find a way to make everything inappropriate. {Head Bang, Butt swing, Etc.}
About a little under Half of the Users in-game make FeralHeart terrible for the Younger participants.
Think to yourself, Would having a "Pregnant" option be very wise?
It would be fed with attention in a Vulgar way by the Crude users. Most likely inducing "Rape" on other Characters & Mating.
Adding Tags come in handy with allowing people to know the Status of your Character. cx
