Game Help / Downloaded objects and water-textures appear white

Ok well, I have looked all over the forums, even in Member-made tutorials but found no answer to my unusual problem;
I recently downloaded some objects and water textures to add to my map but even after placing the folders exactly as ordered, they appear completely white.

I give some examples to help those helping me to help me :P
I downloaded a Ribs mesh with texture .png image and all but when I put it through object maker, it doesn't recognize the texture for some reason and makes it baseWhite..? btw, I got it from the FH-IT Mesh Store on Deviant art.
Another thing, i got two different water textures to change the standard OceanMat to something like CreekwaterMat (Creek style water texture) and I placed all the files in their respective folders but when I type in CreekwaterMat into the materials box for the ocean in map maker, it shows up white..

Can somebody please help me understand what is going on here. I'm desperate to finish my map before the end of August or I wont finish it O_o
I even took advice given to others to restart the game but still nothing

I too, assume you downloaded FH+, if that's correct; Then the solution is real simple, as stated in a member made tutorial by Sameth. If you want a link to that tut, here it is: http://www.feral-heart.com/index.php?option=com_jfusion&Itemid=2&jfile=index.php&topic=16805.0

But in that tut, is a link to download the Lonely cave of regular FH. All you do is download the map here: http://www.mediafire.com/?bl7o1nzs6rn7ubi
then, place the map file into the Exports folder in your main FeralHeart+ folder. That should sort out the black environment as you enter the game on a new character. Just swim across the water to the portal for Cape and enjoy the game from there.

EDIT: I decided to remove the screenie just for the sake of respect for Red and all the admins and MODs that work so hard to make these events work for everybody

My advice, you should probably download the game again.
Did you check to see the other folders are not misplaced somewhere else? You need these folders in Media: items, materials, models, music, objects, overlays, particles, sky, sounds, terrains, textures.
I'd be surprised if your game still ran normally without those folders and its contents -_-

Thank you so much Sameth *Nuzzles Sameth*.

I keep getting asked about it by newbies in help chat who downloaded FH+ and not FH. I always told them to get FH and move their char to Cape, Bonfire or Temple of Dreams as those were the only compatible maps between the two games.. But this makes it so much easier.
If only they read these tutorials first.. I'm learning so much just browsing through XD

Wolffie.. I keep getting people ask me in help chat about the black screen when entering game on FH+. I always told them to get FH and relocate a char to one of the mas that work for both games as it's the only way to play FH+.

I tried your advice given about setting home to Bonfire, it won't let you do type a map name -_-

So instead, I'm gonna test every map I think works for both games and make my own tutorial for newbies to follow rather than having to type the same instructions over and over...  :)

Edit:
I forgot about this post but I'm sure you've seen the post about downloading the Lonely Cave map. I direct everybody to that link instead if anybody asks about the black-background.

Hmm weird.. All I did was extract everything from the winzip folder; Then copy all the files (Except the .txt file with codes) to Media > Items. Next, I opened the file and copied the codes and pasted them into the items.cfg folder and click save.
