"Mmm... I suppose that depends on your definition of 'lucky,'" Alex muttered, kneeling next to the log. Using the axe, he began to strip away the wet bark, tossing it aside. "Where're you from?" He asked over his shoulder, not paying attention to the task at hand, and that led to the feeling of metal slicing into skin.

The axe clattered to the ground, the blade dotted red. He squeezed his hand shut, as tightly as he could, and winced as blood began to drip from his palm. He looked at the new guy, then the girl next to him, and finally ran to the cabin, rummaging through things as well as he could with only one hand.

Special Power: Emotional Augmentation-Emerson can increase the effects of emotions. For example, if someone was scared of something, she could increase that fear until the person was literally unable to move and was paralyzed with fear.  Another example would be augmenting confidence; she could make someone so confident (borderline cocky, even) that they would do something that resulted in their death.

History (How you arrived etc.) Emerson was dragged, kicking and screaming, into Sector 24. She didn't think there was anything wrong with her, and that her ability was useful, rather than harmful. Then again, when you make someone so cocky that they literally jump off a building believing they'll survive, you probably need to be locked up. She's been here since she was 14, and every day has made her hate it more.

Family: She's not sure if her parents are still alive or not, but she's fairly certain that they've all but forgotten about her, seeing as the person she killed was her brother.

"You got a point, there," he nodded, biting his lip. Man, he was making enemies left and right. "I was just trying to offer a suggestion."

"I know I wasn't around here when it happened," he offered in reply, shrugging. "All I heard was a bang, and I thought someone dropped something. But, now I can see that wasn't the case at all."
