I believe the 'Legendary Items" pack does include the pawsome item pack, as well as several others. I'm not exactly sure what packs are included in the pawesome pack so forgive me if I list any included.

You can find a lot in the Other Mods/Creations board as well as DeviantArt.

In the Advanced Options of when you create a new image, does the "Fill With:" box have "Background colour"selected? I know it tends to crash Feralheart if it's on Transparency.

Anyway, check out the tutorial. Hopefully you should be able to solve the issue soon!

What program are you using to make the terrains? You need a program that has a "Greyscale" option, such as GIMP or Photoshop. Simply using greys, blacks and whites won't work.

Make sure:

- Your map is either 513x513 or 512x512
- Only one layer
- There's no transparency
- It's saved in .png format
- Saved as NAMETerrain.png and is located in your Terrains folder, preferably the map folder
- No alpha channel
- In Greyscale

There's a GIMP tutorial here for making heightmaps, which you may find helpful.

You can find many downloadable maps here. I don't know which is the "best" map but I'm sure you will find many you would like.

To download them:

1) First click the download link on the map thread.

2) Once downloaded, you should find files (.fhm, .fho, .fhs and .fhw) included in a folder. 

3) Go to your Feralheart >> Export folder and drag all those files there.

4) Open Feralheart and go to Cape of Distant Worlds. The map portal should be there.

What you are seeing are characters wearing marking packs which you do not have, nothing to do with your computer.

If you want, you can download a markings pack from the Preset & Markings board. The Mass Markings pack is the most popular, I believe. I'm pretty sure this one is the latest version.

If you need help installing them, please feel free to take a look at this tutorial here.
