« on: June 26, 2013, 04:05:24 am »I-... Pretty much block anyone who gives me a genuine reason to. I've given up on reports and it's-... Well. It's my ticket out of triggering and upsetting situations; I honestly can't bear to explain why certain subjects are taboo to everyone who deems it appropriate to crack a rape joke. If someone says something that rubs me up the wrong way, I'll instantaneously block them-- even if it's not aimed at me. I blocked some people earlier this afternoon for calling those at the Mate Center 'pathetic, immature no lifers'-- I'd never want to interact with the person behind the insults, and a block guarantees I'll never need to see them again.
Whether it's extreme powerplaying, harassment, inappropriate topics, character theft, rude behaviour, name-calling, passive-aggressive "honey, darling, love, hun"s, pompous literates, extreme wolfspeak -... Anything I dislike, I'll block. It might be a bit over the top to some, but it's an honest life-saver to someone with anxiety troubles. If I don't want to deal with someone's harassment, I won't need to-- I can just block and they won't ever find out (announcing that you're blocking someone is a very bad thing to do). Minimum drama, minimum fuss.
Everyone uses the tool in their own way!
(I'd hate to know how big my block list is-- I think it's in the hundreds.)
I certainly don't block that much because I do find it entertaining to simply watch the chat. And hundreds? I'd probably have blocked that many people if I didn't enjoy watching so much. Am I evil? Possibly. Thank you for sharing. ?
I think blocking people for stupid reasons such as color or because they are sitting somewhere is just unfair, and quite cruel... but that's just me.
I was overexaggerating; I don't legitimately block people for those reasons LOL. No, I'd only block someone if they were either spamming, causing a big commotion involving me (which happens once in a blue moon), or doing something personal to me that actually made me upset (which is once in two blue moons).
But my point was that you don't need a logical reason to block someone if it personally bothers you whether they are interacting with you or not.

Introduction / I'm Anything But New, However...

I feel as if I've never given a proper introduction here before. I've actually been playing since June of 2011 (although under a different username). I wouldn't call myself popular by any means, but some of you may know me. I'm NazoXSparx in-game. People always call me Sparx, so feel free to do so. I never really used the forums until recently because... Well, before all I've tried to do with FH is quit. I've taken several hiatuses usually lasting several months; the latest one lasting probably close to a year not expecting to return. But it was because of silly reasons when I was much (more) immature.
Many adventures on Impressive Elements and Maududududududududo/uo later (which were less than fun in the end), my best friend decided to come back for their partner and obviously wanted me to return with them. I agreed, and seeing my old friends again and having played FH before any IT game anyway made me feel so much at home that I've now decided to stay for good this time, I certainly hope. It's grown on me like my hair which goes down to my butt bone, and although sometimes I feel as if hate it, being without it would also make me upset and question a lot of my decisions.
... That was such an amazing analogy that I should get an award.
But if you'd like to know me on a personal level, I am:
Sarcastic
Not Serious 99.9% of the time (or maybe a bit more than that)
A user of a lot of weird phrases that are mostly inside jokes (see below)
A literate RPer
A lover of hyenas, dark things (demons especially), and the great indoors
Lazy

How To Speak The Language of Sparx For Dummies:
HELP POLICE = laughing really hard and needs to breathe or is extremely scared
I'M CRYING = of laughter
I'm crying = in disappointment
I don't speak Italian = a reference to Patrick from Spongebob that more people should get b/c it is hilarious ok
/ = an alternate use for ** while illiterately RPing b/c I'm too lazy to hold shift and reach all the way up for the 8 key twice are you crazy
w/e = whatever
b/c = because
... Oh, and I radiate with negativity while spewing curses into all private chats. I guess that's worth mentioning.
... I seriously added the last bit mostly because it's late and I should really go to bed and I feel like being a snarky little comedic genius so

I think this is a wonderful idea because when it comes to art as in drawings, it's much more difficult and takes a skill that you're not taught as strongly as language is. Granted, being a good writer is still no walk in the park by no means, but still; having a contest for stories is a contest open to more people.

I somehow came across IT videos on YT and I was amazed. I wanted to play so badly, but then I saw that it was dead in the comments or something and gave up. Probably nearing a year or so later I found another video about IT which lead me to Feral Heart videos. So I signed up in June of 2011. Soon after, I found out about other IT servers. I played ITr right before it died, then IW, and somewhere between IW and FH I met my best friend and many others who are my motivation to keep playing to this day.
I've tried quitting FH several times because it would stress me out but as I matured I looked back and thought how ridiculous I was and kept being dragged back. My hiatuses have lasted several months to nearing a year, but eventually my good friend found a reason to come back and as did I. Now with a different mindset I feel at home in this game. ?
