It sounds like you may be missing some files. From what I'm reading here, trying to modify game files may cause problems with the recent updates. Make sure your fmaneLight, fmaneMask, and fmaneMask2 files are there. I suggest looking for downloads of these files, or if you can't find them, reinstall and allow the game to replace those files.

I wouldn't even believe it. At this point, after all its been through, it's impossible for the game to die.
But in all seriousness, this game's played a significant role in my young(er) life. I've met a lot of cool people, picked up art as a hobby, and discovered a love for the natural world. While I do have a lot of other games to play and other ways of contacting the friends I've made, I'd be losing a part of my childhood in a way.

Chat tabs would be a life saver. Can't count how many times I've accidentally typed something in the wrong chat while whispering someone ahaha. All of these sound like very nice quality of life changes.

Ohhh a cheek slider for felines would be perfect. Especially for making domestic cats or lynxes. All of these are wonderful ideas, and I hope that we get stuff like this in the next update. ^^

Probably Sweden or Denmark. Both are beautiful (and cold) countries, and have a lot of interesting customs.
