Hm...favorite personality. I role-play I wide variety of faces. I used to role-play the shy and quiet character most times, but as I tended to create new characters, new personas arose. Nowadays, I mostly play as the assertive, apathetic, and knowledgeable character. Then from time to time, I will experiment with other personalities, it's always fun.

I wouldn't care if you were a talking hamster able to somehow work a computer late at night, if you're friendly, then, nice to meet ya. I have no cares when it comes to gender, as long as people play.  :)

Game Discussion / Re: The most AMUSING powerplayers in all of FH.

Well, here, there's power-play, then there is just plain illogical. I've watched a short session where a pup is biting the bone off a full grown lion?

Alright, to the honesty, I can tolerate some things out off a power-play, in fact, I'll even go with whatever happens sometimes if all else fails. If I'm role-playing with a ice-summoning leopard fighting against a dog with fire breath, then, I can let whatever goes on slide from time to time. However, if I'm a full grown, healthy tiger, an animal of fatal teeth and claws, I will not take into any consideration that a tiny, blue chihuahua can take me down in one hit.

I find it real interesting and amusing of the kind of inter-species animals I've witnessed. I've seen a deer-wolf, so, to that moment, I suppose anything is possible here. After that and reading through the posts, who knows what I may see next.

Well, I'll say, I'm in for a treat.

Game Discussion / Re: Should Age really matter? (opinions please)

I always stress to people I meet, I couldn't care less about your age or gender. To me, a person, is a person. If you are here to have fun and just be a life-of-the-party, I do not care. I look for maturity and use of common knowledge, that's all. I've played with an 11-year-old who was able to out-talk myself. He immediately earned more than my respect in meeting him and occasionally playing games together.

Vice versa to the occasional 30+ aged people I met who who act more childish than the little boy over the most ridiculous subjects.

In the end, it doesn't matter how old you are, as long as you know how to behave around others and keep yourself in check, if needed be.

In my opinion, I do not like to use the term "literate" to describe an role-play style, person, or group. Technically, if you can read, write, and know what is coming out of your mouth or put on paper, then, literacy is yours. I role-play out of Feral Heart as well, and if I went around on other platforms advertising a "literate role-play only," people would most likely look at me like an idiot.

And I agree with Exe to use "advanced, neutral," I believe that is far better to say than "literate" or "illiterate." Also, in a way, I think it's rude to call someone "illiterate" or judge them based on the terminology they may use. Though some people may have a high vocabulary, it gives no right for insulting another person for their intelligence. More likely, this would be a factor of why some people portray advanced role-players as such. Instead, why not give constructive criticism and allow the person a chance to improve, if they like.

Referring to Nathan, you seem to be right. Most advanced people can be skeptical and it shouldn't be that way. It leaves a closed atmosphere and in a sense, isolates the advanced players from the new and current players. We are all here to rp with one another, learn, create, and meet new friends. Above all, have fun.

Why not share the fun while helping each other along?

No, don't set it ALL to 100. Each coordinate needs to be at a certain number to position. Every location /or map is different. X Y Z all need to be set accordingly. For example with the "Y" (up and down) position, it's set to 100. Most likely, your portal is buried in the ground or under the map itself or vice versa, up in the air.

Is the Destination Portal coordinated correctly? The portal is there, but you may have it in a position where you cannot see it or access in the map.

Forum Discussion / Re: Favorite Art Program?

I can use a variety of art programs, Gimp, regular Paint, Sai, Photoshop, doesn't matter. Give me a few minutes of time to draw and we have a new picture. Except the tablets, though, can't do tablets. Even months and months of practice could not do it for me.

News Archives / Re: RIP General
« on: June 18, 2013, 10:22:01 pm »
I think removing General chat was a great idea. True, it would be somewhat intricate for some users who relied on the chat to recruit or find a group, but no everyone took into that purpose. The general seemed like a "casual" chat room for people. And with it, they bring up spam, reference to inappropriate or unnecessary subject matters, real world dilemma, troll, and so on. Though I previously used the chat to recruit or ask questions, I can accept this change. Besides, that's why we have a forum, yes? There is always more than one way to do something. Also, I want to add, I am quiet in the world, but think the change will encourage more socialization among players instead of isolating themselves in the map, chatting through general with people they know. Personally, I love to meet people and branch out of the diffidence. So, let's not be strangers, say hello, good-bye, role-play together, derp. And if you are bored, players make a game fun, not the chat.
