Check your "sky" folder (FH > media > sky), that's where the weather/cycle files should be c:

As for your map issue, go into your "particles" folder and delete any files ending in _0, _1, etc. If that doesn't work, then I'd suggest deleting the map's weather/cycle files. While trying to get into the map, don't click the screen; if FH freezes just wait patiently until it responds again
What exactly do you mean by your "canine model stopped working"? Do you mean that nothing appears when you click on "canine" in character or preset maker? A screenshot would be appreciated, though it's alright if you can't supply one
However, would you mind sharing what you have in your "models" folder? (FH > media > models) You should have thirty canine mesh and skeleton files in total; one body skeleton, one body mesh, eight ears, eight manes, four tail meshes, one tail skeleton, and seven tuft meshes. Make sure you have all of those
