I have tried putting the .fwh files in both the exports folder and the sky folder, separately and together, which of course does nothing. :c

Game Help / fhw files crash my game!
« on: August 13, 2014, 03:15:25 am »
Hello! I have had this issue for quite some time, and nothing has been able to help me thus far. So, I've finally come here. To give you a clear idea, this has happened on EVERY SINGLE ONE of my FeralHeart applications, on every laptop/computer I've used. I have installed and reinstalled the game countless times on countless PCs, and this still happens to me...

Every time I try to download a friend's map, or just ANY public map, the .fhw files crash my game.

"FeralHeart.exe has stopped working."

It shows up every darn time I try to log into a map with the .fhw intact. Now, the map works a-okay once I delete it, but that takes away from the immersion, and the morale. It honestly sucks, and I'm tired of having to listen to other people talking about the weather when I simply am not able to see it.

I am currently on a Sony VAIO PC, but I don't think any further system specs are going to be of much importance. If there's any solution, please let me know. Try to put your answer in simple terms, as well, please. I'm not the most tech-savvy person on this forum. Thanks~

You saunter across the vast land of Mournwood Hallow, ears pricked and alert as you cautiously stride onward. My, how this land was so... quiet. An eerie silence flooded the plain, and you could hear the blood rushing in your ears, heart pounding. Why are you here? You're too close to the Mordere av Natten camp, and it is well known how dangerous they are. You tremble, claws digging into the soil as tiny droplets of rain begin to pelt your frame. Boy, and it was cold, too. Brows drawing together in both nervousness and suspicion, you pivot around on a hind paw and head back into the densely-wooded grove that you had padded through earlier.

This place was horrifyingly creepy, and you swore to yourself that you could hear the maddening chuckle of a wolf behind you, but a quick glance backward proves your ears wrong. You were alone. Why you had brought yourself here was beyond question, and you didn't feel the least bit happy being stuck here. You have heard rumors of rebellion and revolt in your midst, and you ponder on why a wolf would rebel against their own blood-bound pack. Then again, there had to be a reason. Shaking your head to rid of the water drizzling from your soaked chin, you quickly decide as to what on Earth you were going to do. In all reality, why were you here in the first place?

Back before time has record of, Mordere av Natten has thrived. Formed by a courageous, brave young wolf, the pack became enormous and reached its peak with over 100 wolves serving under its ranks. Less of a pack and more of an organization at first, over time the group dwindled and many died from a disease that plagued the lands of Mournwood. But, thankfully, the Mordere survived throughout the dark times and once again arose from its shadow.

Each wolf has flourished under the great pack's wings, their loyalty and will to serve keeping the cruel pack alive. Letting it continue. As the Dra's and Dre's lines continued from their children, each have served their duty well, and have died honorably. Each wolf has prospered, their belief in Mordere's spirit awakening with their naive, sometimes gullible minds.

Many generations have passed and, as time wears on, a whole new terror is to greet the wolves. Rebellion. After the 47th Dra's rule, a young brute from outside of the Mordere av Natten bloodline took control. As we endure losses and death, young Skydis has always done his best to keep the Mordere av Natten wolves in line.

With a price.

As his rule continues, many wolves have been executed by his wrath, and many more are to come. Our Dre, for the first time in years, has fallen and left our Dra alone, only to sulk in his own emotions from a past that nobody yet has even considered. As our times grow to darken once again, not by disease but by tyrannical rule, you must make a choice. Do you question your loyalties? Your well being? Your life? Make your decision, wolf, because in the end, we all have a choice.

And it isn't us who make our choices, because when everything around you has shattered... shifted, you will know that your choices will make you.

Justice? Or Power?

The old advertisement.

Do you think this would be a mature RP? Not sure if we should, in case... y'know... The kiddies may not like the thought of the RP's OOC discussion being solely based on
mustard nipples.
LOL, I'd totally type my opinion on the matter, but I'd most likely get banned for it... So I'll just be quiet and stalk around this thread. Shame how so many sheeple here keep bleating and backing up this change simply because they want to stay on the mods' good side. Not everyone, but quite a few.

All of my no are belong to this.  :T

But, I completely agree with Sambari. And, my pack is going to suffer from this. There is no question about it. It may be easier for the mods, but hey, this decision is going to destroy so many packs, mark my words. Not in the least bit pleased. Nopity nope nope.

Game Help / Map Issues :c
« on: June 07, 2013, 12:13:57 am »
Okay, so usually my maps I make are perfectly fine, but... I made this one map that seems to work okay for me, but crashes for other people. They all have their files in the right place, mind you, and they also have experience in maps. But, feralheart.exe doesn't like to work when they enter. One of my friends did happen to make it in, but after a while, the program crashed on her as well and didn't let her back in. Honestly, I have told them everything I could, and although I'm not too experienced in map-making... this is ridiculous.

It's a new updated map for my RP, yet it just absolutely WON'T WORK. DDD: I'm so frustrated... Y'all have hardly an idea. I am about to explode. The map is not big, although it does have a LOT of meshes in it. But, they ae all vanilla FH meshes. Like, grass patches and oak trees. Stuff like that.

Anyway, thanks for any suggestions. <3
