Feral Heart

I haven't played played Feral Heart in a few months so I decided to start playing again recently, but I can't start my game. It used to work perfectly fine and it never crashed or had any issues. When I try to start the game nothing happens and the program stops responding and I have to force quit. Any ideas on what the problem is or how I can fix it?
