Hi there. I scanned through past threads about map maker issues other people have had and followed advice given to them, but my map maker still isn't working. I made a height and terrain map for testing purposes and they both worked in the map maker. But when I made another height map that was a little more detailed-looking, I would type its file name into the designated input area in the map maker, and then the game would freeze up and I would have to close it (waiting for the error to go away didn't work).
For at least an hour now, I have recreated and renamed the height map file to see if it will work, but it isn't. The file is exactly like the one that I made before it (513px x 513px, one-layered, grayscale png), only it looks different and has a different file name (but in the same file name format). At first, I was placing it directly in the media>terrain folder, and then I created a new map folder via the Map Maker and placed the file in there, but it didn't work either. To see if it was just my created file or a problem with the game itself, I typed in the Windmill terrain map to see if the game would continue running. It stopped working once, but I tried again and it worked, so maybe it is something to do with my file... Someone before me had the same issue and fixed it by deleting their alpha channel in Photoshop, but I don't think that's my problem. I also only have Photoshop Elements, so I do not have access to my file's alpha channels.
So, does anyone have any suggestions? Sorry for the trouble.

EDIT:
Oh, and I forgot to mention that I experience this problem in the map makers of both FH and FH+. Also, I can add objects, test maps, etc. in the map maker, but it only stops working when I change the height map file. Also, if someone thinks that deleting alpha channels is possible or it would work, I guess I could download the trial for the full version of Photoshop and try that...
