Game Help / Feral Heart launching error on Mac?

This is for my friend who is too d--- lazy to figure out how to fix her own problem.
She's downloaded the game and made an account, but whenever she tries to launch the game, it shows up in her task bar for a second and then dissapears and doesn't launch. Anybody know what's happened or what we're doing wrong?

Well, thanks for your help, but none of this has been working. I've been using UTorrent and I am the administrator account, I've tried restarting and everything, nothing works. Thanks anyway, and if you figure anything else out, let me know.

Well, I have tried re downloading as well as re-installing, niether seem to work. Thanks for the tip though, I'll try restarting my computer next time. Oh and one more thing, when I've tried downloading the file off of Media Fire, it won't let me run, move or open the file, so I've been torrenting. Could that be part of the problem?

I've downloaded Feral Heart + but when I try to login, it says I need the latest patch. I've read that all you have to do is uninstall and re-install Feral Heart plus from the website, but I've tried that 3 or 4 times. Somebody please tell me what I'm doing wrong or show me where to get the patch, I really want to play Feral Heart +!
