Looks like it'll actually take a long time for Arokai to release though. If you read the readme file included with the wolf creator, the Arokai creator says:

"I have to admit that I completely halted development on this project for about a month and a half. I needed to take some time and reconsider my goals with this project, because it really is a time consuming project. I don't have the time that I used to anymore to work on this.

Because of my limited time, I am considering going open source with it and releasing this thing into the wild, while downsizing my goals. The thing is, I'm finding myself not caring about it as much as I used to. I'm actually happy with just creating this glorified character editor so that perhaps other talented individuals can take it and hopefully develop it into part of a larger, unified game of some kind."

You can make maps and objects yourself and share it with other people, so go and make some awesome looking stuff so I can download it =P

And yes the textures are stretched, the map maker in this game just does that. You put an object in map maker and scale it much larger so the textures get stretched when you enlarge the object so they can look really ugly.

I agree that Kovu should bring back the old hunting, but I think he didn't because people in IT modified the creature spawn value so it would spawn tons of animals so they could get item drops easier. Even though there's no items to get in FH, people will still like to spawn tons of animals and fool around. It causes server problems and lag and it's 1 of the reasons the IT server went down, among other things. It would allow hackers and trolls to try and crash the server, and we don't want FH to end up like IT.

Kovu would need a new method to spawn creatures instead of the IT way; where it used a file you could open and edit with notepad so easy, so people won't mess with it. Perhaps the spawn value could be server-sided, so only Kovu has access to it.

-A check to remember password just like username. If a person doesn't want their password to be saved then they should leave it unchecked, no harm in this and makes it convenient.

-Bring back bloom (lighting) as an option. It made IT look so much better and cooler.

-Make it so you can use the numpad numbers (to the right of keyboard). I'm used to it so I instinctively use that it anytime I need to type in a number and it's frustrating for it not to work. Also it would prevent new users getting confused as they use the numpad to enter their password and they can't log on.

-More customization, like to shift the ears width and length and twist them, and put more ears/tufts etc. like lynx ears, just way more options would be awesome so you can make your character exactly the way you envision.

-Bring back all the IT markings, some have been brought back but many are missing, I can't recreate my characters from IT which I want to do. I'm not saying bring back item trading etc. I mean put all the IT items in this game so you can equip your character with them during character creation/editing, and everyone has access to them so no harm in this.

-Bring back maps from IT too. Or provide an optional IT map pack that includes all the old IT maps, include it in the downloads section.

Some ideas from other threads I agree with: -Hunting animals (with eating animation) -More actions

Maybe you think: "Why ask for all the IT stuff? Just go play IT on the few servers available." Well it'd be much better if all the IT and FH players all could just play 1 game that included everything all on 1 server so everyone's together.

More people = better game as FH is all about the social experience. When you play FH you don't have to miss IT and switch and vice versa or decide which of the IT servers to play on. FH is a replacement for IT and supposed to be better than IT, but if you leave out great stuff that IT had, how could it be truly better?

I don't know about characters, seems pretty equal, but in terms of real life gender looks like most people are actually females, and that goes for this whole 'culture', for a lack of better word, I mean like us, animal-liking group that likes to draw wolves and big cats and like Lion King and play games like these and RP animals, are into 'scene-wolves' etc. are more female than male, this is coming from a male btw. A lot of times I couldn't even find any real males at all in WQ and IT, all the males were actually female.
