Game Discussion / What are the unspoken rules of FH?
« on: November 25, 2015, 04:27:41 pm »
My question pertains to the social rules of FH. This obviously disqualifies any of the established game rules. So, for example: one  rule I've observed is "MATE/ADOPTION CENTER" Stays in bonfire. What are some that you've noticed?

The only time I've been genuinely unnerved is when someone referred to me as a username I went by twelve years ago. I've absolutely no idea how they connected it to my current tag; it's been out of use for over a decade since it included my IRL name. Unfortunately, I've not managed to catch them online since-- I really, really want to ask how they found out. I'm so curious.
that's really chilling. To be honest, that'd creep me out to the max if that happened to me.

Ohoho.
While mine wasn't necessarily creepy, it was sooo bizzarre.

There I was, minding my own business in Bonfire on my dire wolf character, Kelso,
when all of a sudden a wild Quent (craycray wolf-obsessed hunter guy from Wolf's Rain) appeared.
He was bent on shooting poor 'ol Kelso, but just as all hope was lost-

Iron Man swooped in from the heavens, deflected the bullet, and scooped Kelso off his feet, flying him to safety.

It was just so random and weird I was dying the whole time. XD

Ah, Bonfire
What would we do without you.

Oh my gosh that sounds amazing! XD bonfire is the best.

I've honestly never been troubled by anything in-game or even just on the forums. However, nothing is more alarming than getting a message from one of your packmates to "quickly get online; someone might have hacked into your account". Long story short, I regained control of my account and quickly changed my password. The hacker was a good friend of mine - not the best sort of player, but I still tried to support what was good of them - and they found out my password. It was so obvious that I thought it wouldn't be obvious.

Another thing that could be considered creepy on FeralHeart are some of the outside links players will share. Make sure to get information on the link they shared before actually going to it. You might end up seeing something gross.

Some mate beggars can be down right disturbing at times - ones who ask for certain types of roleplays, if you get my drift.

I would be mortified of someone hacked my account especially since I use modifications of the same password for a lot of other things too.
Also I've heard stories of mate beggars and their bizarre choice in rp topics but I've never experienced it first hand (Thank goodness)

This game, like any game, has got to have some creepy glitches/maps/rps/people. So, what's the creepiest/most bizarre thing that's ever happened to you in-game?

Game Discussion / Re: Have you ever been stalked by someone in-game?

I've never been stalked--or maybe I have and I ended up befriending or blocking them without realizing their true intent. I do, however, stalk people on f3 all the time. It's fun and nobody knows when I'm creepin' e w e

Game Discussion / Re: Character Inspirations

Most of my character inspiration comes from music, dreams, old mythology,  and the people around me. With the exception of Heartbleed (my virus character) which was inspired by the actual Heartbleed bug.

    .:The Wanderer:.

    Preset Download: http://www.mediafire.com/download/lbkqggb8qv4l7nc/R3DRebellion_10.fhp
    General Information:

    Sex:Male
    Height(from shoulder): 4.5ft
    Length:6ft
    Weight:110Lb
    Age: N/A
    Mate: not looking
    Pup(s): none
    Currently Protecting: nobody

Theme Song: Mist on Mountains by Geoffrey Castle

    About:

The wanderer is a nameless guardian. His back story is a mystery even to him--knowing that he was put on the earth to protect others and how to do so--is the extent of his knowledge. In reality, he is an immortal being, starting life anew like a phoenix every time he's killed. When he dies his memory resets and a tiny part of him is lost, revealing the skeletal structure that is his soul. If he is completely unraveled he will become nothing more than a wandering spirit--a ghost with no purpose. Lucky for the Wanderer, he has plenty of lifetimes to go before he's reduced to nothing.

He can feel no real pain--nor any other physical sensation, really. this is his body's way of keeping himself "selfless" he can't worry about himself if there's no "self" to worry about.

    Personality:

He is docile, good by nature-- hardly the type to want to hurt anyone. Usually though, whether or not he does is seldom up to him. He likes birds, rain, water, and music--the delicate and relaxing things in life. Dislikes are: loud or rude people. He's a bit naive, not always understanding certain speech, behaviors or gestures. as a result he can be easy to take advantage of. He himself speaks with a thick, guttural, accent that rolls off the tongue and compliments his husky deep voice nicely (if he decided to speak, that is). He moves with great care and attention to what he's doing, his steps always light and calculated.

    Powers:

-Shadow manipulation: within a five foot radius he can manipulate shadows into solid form. he can use this to, make shelter, a shield, or projectiles (as long as target is within ten feet of him)

Shape shifting: his forms are: beast (shown above), Raven, and human. all forms hold the common characteristic of eyes and dark fur/hair/feathers.

    Weaknesses:
Light: it prevents him from using any kind of shadow powers
Closed Spaces: he has an irrational fear of being crushed--underground spaces are a no-no

    How to "Catch" the Wanderer
The key around his neck tied his soul to the soul of the wearer. If one is deemed worthy, or upon request, he will give the key to a host. From there the host is free to name, and command the wanderer. If lost, stolen, or the host dies, the key returns to the neck of the wanderer. The key will only work if given willingly.

    More Pictures:
    [/list]

That's it about him for now. I will be adding pictures of his other forms hopefully soon and I will be adding information as I see fit. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and please, don't hesitate to tell me what you think. Constructive criticism is always welcome.
