Game Help / Connection issues *OLD CHARACTERS*

I've noticed that I can make a new character on 1.15 and can connect to maps straight away, first time, however with my characters from the original (And yes, I HAVE reset their home locations AND sent them home, I CANNOT connect to servers on them. This, to say the least is upsetting as said characters and the ones who I have GREAT roleplays on.

Anyone else having this issue or is it just me?

I was excited to see the new update, however, I honestly dislike it. Those who like it, can stay, obviously, however I was wondering if it'd ever be possible for the older version to be up and running? I love my characters on that one, and I, honestly, hate the original markings. I don't want to have to abandon my groups and friends just because of an update. The new maps do look amazing, I just prefer the older game.
