Forum Discussion / Re: girls or guys?

Wow, I had no idea that there was such a huge difference! I figured yes, there would be less males than females, but really wasn't prepared for that large of a difference. Wow. My interests are ALWAYS more female than male things, so I always have the fun in being surrounded by females in any community I join. It's awkward for me to be honest.

Forum Discussion / Re: Male Or Female Characters?
« on: November 30, 2013, 10:47:44 pm »
I play male characters for the most part, though I often give them "intersex" characteristics because my perception of my own gender and physical sex. (Intersex is what you mislabeled as hermaphrodite an offensive slur, but most people don't realize that...so yeah.) Intersex means that the chromosomes of both sexes are somehow present in the dna of an individual. This sometimes shows up physically, which is the way most people know of the condition. As I am probably not a real intersex (there are hospital tests for that- so I don't know for sure) I don't use the term, but yeah... I guess you can say my characters tend to be non-binary males, or just simply males, depending on the individual character.  (I am a big part of LGBPT community so I thought I'd clarify on that.)

Hello Abomine and thank you for the welcome! Thank you, I honestly kind of came up with it on the spot when I was registering. That's awesome, I have quite a mass of short stories though I want to write novels some day, and I love poetry. I have a lot of poems though I'm mostly a free style poet.

Thank you for the welcome OreoHeroz! I'm sure I will, and possibly! I need to sniff around there, before I can really say. Thank you, I'm sure I'll get something figured out soon enough.

Thank you for the welcome Vespian. It always is a pleasure to meet those who enjoy the art of roleplay. ^^ I will do if I have any questions, but so far so good! Mm, my net book can barely handle Wolf Quest which is pretty sad considering. I'm probably going to end up deleting it since it slows this poor thing down. Haha, you definitely will see me around here.

Thank you for the information and the welcome Vask! I'll check out the links I've yet to read on yet. I'm sure you will see me around. I've luckily been on forums before so I'll get used to this place pretty quickly I think!

Introduction / I suppose I should say hello!

Hello! I've only recently heard of this game, and immediately got intrigued, so, in an amazing feat, I managed to nab my account the night I learned of the game! Which I'm still extremely proud of. Anyway, you can call me any nickname you'd like, just nothing like 'Dom' 'cause that's just awkward for me, mostly because that's my aunt's boyfriend's name. Eep. Acceptable shorter versions of Domestic would be Dome, Stic, or Tic. So feel free to mess with both my username (which is DomesticFox) and my display name to come up with any nicknames you'd like to use.

Sadly I can't download the game at the moment because my net book wouldn't be able to handle it, so I have to wait til Christmas to see if I can get a back up hard drive to store the game there. I will probably roam around the forums until then. I have read the rules, both for in-game and for the forums. Um, a few things about me I guess? I go to college, (My semester is over at the moment, so yay long break until after the holidays) I have horrible social anxiety, I'm a writer (I used to rp very frequently but it died down and I think I want to try to get back into it) and I'm a domestic fox therian. I love animals, and I used to have pets, which I've had quite a variety in them over the years.

Anyway, feel free to ask any question or anything.
