Lovely design, Kiquaii. I am highly intrigued. It seems as though you have quite the talent for making presets and I do hope to see more coming from you in the future. Keep up the great work and have fun with your first ever preset.

Discussion Board / Re: Fandoms. We all have one.
« on: May 24, 2014, 04:48:12 pm »
Ohh. There are only two fandoms that I've called my home.

My first legitimate fandom was The Walking Dead. I just love that show so dang much. It's not really the brutality that has caught my attention. The story, the characters, the occasional plot twists and just... Just, the things that even occur. You can never tell what will happen next and I can assure you that it'll keep you on the edge of your seat in stressful suspense and anxiety. I'm glad I've found such an amazing show.

My second fandom is Shingeki no Kyojin, translated to Attack on Titan.
At first, I thought it was going to be ridiculous, cliche, and just terrible in general. Hah, I was horribly wrong. I decided to watch it one weekend and immediately attached myself. Wasn't like anything else I've seen. The whole concept is just amazing, the storyline and the characters blend in flawlessly. The Titans were made as eerie as they should've been without fail. And in addition, the fandom itself is just a barrel of insanity. I love it so much and I intend to stick with this fandom for as long as I possibly could.

Oi.
This has happened to me many times before. With the amount of people at Bonfire Island, the chat box seems to be flooded with miscellaneous things and whatnot, making it somewhat difficult for users to even spot out their friends' posts let alone someone else's who just randomly appeared. This applies to other maps as well.
Similar to what Sherlockian said, most users don't exactly want their characters to die either. Without asking them for permission, they will most likely ignore you and carry on. Even if you are not a predator targeting a specific character, it still seems better to ask someone if they would like to roleplay. If not, don't fret. If you would like to roleplay at any time, try hanging around a few of the hotspots such as Stone Bridge or the portal to Cape and see if there are any groups recruiting for members.
I just don't see this random roleplaying worth the time and effort. It would be of some miracle if someone were to pick up on one, but I don't think it'll happen much often. For me, I'd say that I've successfully been a part of a small handful of random roleplays, most of which did not last long at all.

Hello, Miss Val.

Welcome to Feral Heart. I hope you make yourself comfortable and enjoy your stay. I suggest taking a look at those links provided by Ingredient and OreoHeroz; for they will be of great use in the near future, perhaps. Also, if you would like to get to know the wonderful Staff, take a look at this thread:

>>The Awesomesauce Staff!<<

Again, I hope you enjoy your stay here with us. If you need any help regarding the forums or the game, feel free to send me or any other helpful floofs a PM. If not, you could always post the issues you are having here on the Help board:

>>Help<<

I hope to see you around, Val.

What Lady Alizarin has mentioned before me, I do think snuggling is one way to comfort someone during their time of need as well. Most people appreciate the fact that someone is willing to take time out of their day to help ease their pain and frustration, but others desire some time on their own to think about certain things that others have absolutely nothing to do with. Some privacy would be great.

If a stranger randomly came up to me and asked for help despite the fact we've never seen nor spoke to each other before, that is when I will step up and do my job comforting them because I can tell that they are desperately in need of someone to speak with about their problems... Which honestly, I don't have an issue with that. I often find myself asking for comfort from complete strangers mostly because the people I know personally are not available at the time. {Which probably isn't wise... asking random people but 'ey, I look for those who seem trustworthy enough.}

Now again, similar to Alizarin's point, I would not just randomly go up to a stranger after seeing them upset. You never know what they'll do and could potentially threaten and chase you away. Not everyone is like that, of course. But I choose to have someone come to me for help rather than intrude without invitation. I know it would be considered a nice thing to do, but I've been turned down many times before. Most want time to themselves to think about what to do and really don't see comfort and help necessary at that moment. I respect that, don't get me wrong. If people believe they should solve their own problems, then by all means let them. If their sorrow is really starting to get to me, I'll ask if they need comfort and go from there.

You have a good heart, Whisper. But just be careful and consider these few things. I love to see people help one another, but being turned down when comforting someone just... It bothers me. So aye, respect others' privacy but keep close if they finally decide it's time for help. This Feralheart community is filled with many good people, so trouble shouldn't be much of an issue.

@OreoHeroz: Thank you. I hope to see you in-game as well.

@AlphaEclipse: Thank you for the refresher. I'll see to the links as soon as I could.
Also, I'm terribly sorry for accusing the game like that. Wasn't intentional and I hope I haven't frightened anyone that the game supposedly contained malware, which it does not. Thank you for clearing that up. I very much think I've obtained the virus when installing several custom mods / maps for the game. I trust that the game is safe and reliable, however the sites I've downloaded the additional content from seemed questionable. It was my fault for being too oblivious.
Anyways, thank you for the welcome and I hope to see you in-game as well.

@Vespian: Ahehh, great to see another fan of SnK here.~ Thank you for the warm welcome, I'll try and make my return as bright as you've said.
Aye, you and AlphaEclipse have informed me well of that. Again, I trust that the game is safe. It must have been obtained from other sites when downloading custom maps or mods of some sort. I won't let it happen again, but I can't promise much. But now I know never to accuse the game of any viruses. Thank you yet again.

@Spottedbears: Haha! We can be friends, of course. Thank you.

Ah, wow.

I've been waiting for days on end for the Registration to open up. I finally managed to catch it when it has, and now here I am. I've actually been playing Feralheart for three years now and decided I wanted to start new once again. Really, it seems as though I've started... or ended... on the wrong foot. It is great to be back and hopefully I'll stay for much longer.

The name's Rivaille, or Levi if you so choose to address me by that instead. As you can tell, I'm a huge fan of Attack on Titan. It's a really great show and I'm actually glad my friends forced me into watching it. I think that is all you need to know for now. I won't be able to reinstall the game until I get my new computer and hard drive. For some reason, the game itself gave me some type of virus and I had no choice but to remove it. I'm happy to stick around the forums for a while and perhaps get to know some of you guys. As I've said, it's great to be back...
