There's many beautiful pictures drawn on the iPad, so doing a "bad job" just means you need practice with it, it's not the iPad, if you where thinking.
It also maybe your art program ;O Some don't meet the standards a digital artist would need. I use procreate. What do you use?

I'm not that good compared to other people but yeah.
This is fan art from an animation called "The Butterfly Dragon"

I totally forgot to add my signature so I just put the copyrights there >.< I take this stuff seriously, I really don't want to get in some trouble.
The grass is not defined very much because the grass is not the main focus of the picture. Most of this was cloud lighting practice. Also reflection practice (the character is holding a bubble and that helps me practice reflections)
I did this with the program procreate on the ipad.

Its a magic nebula hence it having the name "Magic Nebula"
