I don't have much to say, just that I've never truly felt at home in FH.
It was my first community ever. I joined when I was 10 years old. That was 5 years ago.

This may turn into a bit of a rant, but here goes:

The constant putting down of others for not speaking english or spelling well enough is too much. I've seen way too many legal adults (18+ year olds) bully minors, kids even 9-10 years old because they spelled one thing wrong.
They're just kids. I'm just a kid. No one deserves that.
I don't know how much has changed, since I haven't really been on in a while.

Why is it ingrained into a huge part of the ingame community's mind that if you can't spell well, you're not worth talking to?

90% of my friends don't play FH, and there's honestly way too much drama and discourse for me to stay comfortably.
Really though, it's not so much the bad things that're making me leave (I stayed 5 years, didn't I?) but the fact that I just. Lost interest. I picked up 2d animation and I hope to do a lot more with my interests! I've even joined a MAP (multi-animator project, for those who don't know)!

I'm on team Mystic! I have 32 Pokemon but I've caught 72 so far. I started with a charmander and I can't wait to evolve my eevees lol

I don't want to turn this discussion into an argument, but please if you're against this idea I think it would be more beneficial if you were to state why?

Personally I think it would be really nice to have more than the two default genders, although a pronoun text field may be misinterpreted or misused depending on the person.
Seeing as people (like above) may be uncomfortable with such a change, maybe we could instead advise users to hide their gender and out their pronouns in their signature if it is really a big deal.

But bringing back the old maps won't bring back the memories in them. Bringing back the old maps would only call for a back step in progress, and perhaps even create more of a reason for users to abandon this game. Memories are just that, memories.

I definitely agree with this. There has been loads of hypocrisy since the update came out: People had been begging for one for years and when they finally get what they want, it's not "up to their standards". FH had been on a steady decline since the hacking attempt that lead to the login page. It sure was dying. There was also drama surrounding other parts of the game which led to various other people leaving because of that. When it updated, I'd never seen that many people online before --- coming from a person who joined in August of 2011 (and I don't remember, but it might've been a new high for FH? unless that was the forums only).

I had a character who lived in a group with a class system, high/middle/low, and he was low class. The class system was so ingrained in both his mind and in society that he believed he was not important, staying out of everyone's way would help them more than helping him, and it he was quite startled every time someone would talk to him.
It was pretty fun, although the roleplay just wasn't for me so I ended up leaving, but I still like the character.

I bought the game as soon as it came out! My friends and I had a ton of fun raising puppers together, it was really cool although I haven't really played it since.

1. To me, being a furry isn't some deep type of kin connection to animals (that's a whole other thing, although some people are wolfkin/etc), it's just a like for animals. Anyone can be a furry if they consider themselves one, whether or not they draw/enjoy bipedal, anthropomorphic animals. People are allowed to identify as furries because of whatever reason they want, even if they only like quadruped animals with natural anatomy. It's not up to people who don't identify as furries to define what those who do are.

2. I've never truly identified with it myself, but, sure, I guess so? I don't have a fursona.

3. Of course. While, generally outside of FH, the term "fursona" is almost always strictly associated with furries (hence the fur in the word itself), I have seen the term being used very very loosely in this community.

4. No, people are allowed to identify however they want (unless it's harmful or something) and it's really not up to us to tell them what they are. Feral Heart is not a furry game. It's a Lion King game with canines.

5. I don't know, I guess I like talking to people and roleplaying. The community is really problematic sometimes and it gets on my nerves when people refuse to recognize that. After four (soon to be five) years of playing this game, I think I am now truly starting to edge away from it, but we'll have to see where that goes, because I don't really have anything else to do in my free time.
