Introduction / Back after a long absence... Nice to meet you!

While I'm not entirely new to the game, I am new to the forum. I've never really been a part of an internet community and I'm admittedly pretty shy, but I look forward to getting to know all of you. :-)
A little about me: I write original fiction and draw as a hobby, and I'm currently an undergraduate student studying physics.
