Game Help / Incorrect Password glitch?

Hello! I'm having a small glitch that I'm unsure of.
My password isn't correct, and I ended up resetting it just to test this, but I keep getting the glitch of "Failed to log in 5 times, 15 minute ban for incorrect password" message showing up.
Is there something else I can do about this? It was doing it lastnight and I left it alone and went to sleep, and tried to log in today (no failed attempts, first try) and the message came back up
I did have the play window open before opening the client itself, and its still doing this.
