Game Discussion / Recommended downloads?

Hello everyone! Its been years since I last touched Feral Heart, I think to be specific I was last active around the time the community patch came out which was maybe 4 years ago if I'm correct. I'm a bit rusty and need a huge refresher, one of the big questions I must ask though is, what are the recommended downloads before hoping on the game?
Something I remember very clearly in Feral Heart was the use of different markings and so forth, a majority of players were usually white blobs, and if you wanted to see them you'd have to go through the process of downloading multiple marking and item packs galore. Since I am really adamant on coming back to this game, I was wondering if ya'll could point me in the right direction! : )
