YUSH!!

After about 36 hours(most of which consisted of getting the Python to work right) I was able to make a... a thing xD And get it into FeralHeart(EpicRockOfDesteny(I spelled destiny wrong when i was makeing the mesh, whoops)).

Completely amazing tutorial. This is just what i was hoping to find! Once i get the controls down ill be all set!

i will continue to follow this thread untell i get into the big complicated things. Simply amazing Hammy, keep up the good work!

I had the same problem.

Make sure that your watermill map doesn't have a ceiling, open skys are required for skymaker to work.

Only way to fix it that i found was to uninstall and reinstall.. thanks for searching for that thread Muindor you deserve much karma for that. i need to learn the secrets of the form so i could avoid posting a new topic like this again.




i was hoping i could avoid having to do that xD sorry for posting. reinstalling is a nightmare with all the objects, maps, textures, and such that ive made... hope you guys can understand. Thanks for help!

Im currently getting an exception that is beyond my know how. it happens right when i try to start the program up. ive been scared to experiment in fear that ill make things worse, so if anyone out there has any clue as to what this exception means, Id love to hear from you. much thanks!!

If you didn't make a picture for the mane copy and paste the one from the "preset one", the lion preset that came with the game. you can edit it however you like, just remember to rename it according to which preset folder your using.

ALSO you might need to use a code so that the mane doesn't appear "half invisible" you can find it here:

Komodo i cant help you, this is beyond what i know about the game, it sounds like your having connection problems but i dont know =( youll have to ask someone in the know. or that is wait tell someone in the know replies. it could be a while before they do. Lets hope sooner then later

Sadly no they cannot.. but there is a way to make some people see it,
When you export a preset in preset maker (like what ruby was saying) a file becomes created that you can send to your friends or anyone that you want to see you preset.
go to "my computer>(C:) drive>Feralheart>presets"
You should see your preset file there, its not any of the pictures its just simply your username_3.fhp.
for example mine would read: Binks_3.fhp
the number depends on which preset file you used when you drew all the pictures!!
But anyhow youll have to copy that file and use a website like media fire to upload it to, then send your friends the link, when they get your preset file, they past it in:
"my computer>(C:) drive>Feralheart>presets"
then they SHOULD be able to see it!
 but if you cant figure it out from this you should look up a guide by a professional. ima newbie lol

p.s. When i started out i thought they were called presents too lol

OKAY this sounds kindof like a problem with object names and groups!
now this is confusing how this works but, heres my idea (im probably way off)

When you get a new object and go to save it in the object maker, which group do you save it under?
Lets say you download a giraffe! everything's working fine and you come to the point where you have to save mr giraffe in an objects group. The issue could be that your saving him under on the of groups that came with the game:
"Default
miscellaneous
my plants
my trees
my rocks"
and so on, now if you do save mr giraffe in one of these groups, then nobody will be able to see him. BUT if you make a custem group, for example:
"African Animals"
anyone that explores your map should be able to see mr giraffe. as long as you send them the exported group file, that would be "African Animals.fho" in this example.

i hope i helped, also i hoped i didn't just say something you already knew.. i tend to do that alot!
