Game Help / The Game Opens, But Won't Run. ..:c

I've had an account for a pretty expansive amount of time from laptop to laptop, however, when I downloaded it on my new computer, and clicked on the desktop icon to run it, it would open, but the screen would just remain black for a few seconds ( the lion picture with Kovu's name would not appear ), and then a tab would pop up, stating its immediate inability to work. After several tries of redownloading multiple times, the same error would occur, and later, we [ me and my older brother ] discovered something that we thought was the issue. 5 files were missing, and my FeralHeart file was much smaller than his, so in which, we took a flashdrive and moved/copied his file into it, and I replaced my FH folder with his. Again, it did not progress to the login screen, and I guess, I'm here - indeed, seeking "desperate" help. ^^; Haha. If someone could direct me to somehow fix this, it would be much appreciated. My laptop is an hp pavillion, if that assists in any sort of way. c:
