Exactly as says below.
I play my FH normally, I don't do any funny adjustments to it.
But my Game crashes when the loading screen appears after I pick a character. It started yesterday and I've done all I could think to solve it and NOTHING works.
I've checked the Particles and everything seems to be fine, I've changed the Rendering system to see if it changed.
Nothing.
So I really need help to solve this, please.
Please! I've un an re installed the game over five times now! What else am I to do?
Could It be my computer?

I'm having a similar problem, only that when I try to log as a character, BOOM game crash. It started yesterday and now I've un installed and re installed countless times! It's frustrating.

Game Help / To those receiving the "replacing code 5" problem while installing the patch!!!

I've downloaded the patch three times in hopes one would give a different, more satisfying result than those that failed and came up with this path install. I don't know why but I read the instructions in my wizard installer. It said "It is recommended to close other programs."
CLOSE OTHER PROGRAMS. I had my FH game open, during this and the other installing attempts. I closed it, and tried to install the patch once more.
IT WORKED. No errors this time! It installed perfectly. I opened my game. It worked perfectly good too.
Maybe that's the problem why the "code 5" thing appears. It sounds silly, but it can be. It worked for me after all!

i download the path and when i try to install it, the little devil says "problem with deletfile; code 5" to me too.
could this be a problem related to the patch itself?

I've tried downloading by both torrent and normal download the patch displayed in Official Downloads below the FH setup, but I don't know how to make it work (I click "open" with torrent, nothing happened. clicked with the normal download, setup thing appears, i go through all the steps but when tried saving it in my FH folder, tells me I can't.). So, maybe I'm not even downloading the correct patch or I am not doing this right. If someone knows how to help, please do.

I tried downloading with both torrent and download (whenever i try to save the download into the already existing FH folder, it tells me there was an error, but when i try to "retry" the same ol' thing happens!) and... i duuno what to do either ._.
