Well, that's only a small bit of it. Basically, I cannot select any of my presets in game, even the reference presets 1 and 2. I have not played with them at all, and I've tried reinstalling to no avail. When I go to edit my  characters or create a new character, and select the presets button, the box shows up, but it's completely empty. Is there any way to fix this, preferably without removing all files?

I've noticed over time that I can't see presets. Sort of an odd revelation, like a color blind person learning that they're color blind. All presets either appear blank, white, and untextured without eyes, or are the same colors as when you create a new character and haven't customized colors yet. Can somebody tell me how to fix this?

... aaaand, you are a cat? We're all human. l:l  Or else we wouldn't be typing on the computer. Unless you're a cat with creepy human hands attached.
Also, RPing isn't pretending to be anything. It's writing a story and developing characters just like you would in a book, so the character isn't a reflection on yourself. Is it wrong that people write books about animals even though they're not that animal?
