Some of you might have noticed that I haven't been around for quite a while.
I will not go into detail as of why I have been MIA for this amount of time, however, I've came to realise that these I am unable to provide the community with what it needs.

FeralHeart has been a good place for me, where I've met some wonderful people and made memories I will always cherish.
But my path ends here.

Take care of yourselves. <3

Discussion Board / Does FeralHeart make you a furry?

Does FeralHeart make you a furry?

The title may seem odd, but this is something that has been on my mind for a while.

What I want to know is how many of you actually consider themselves a furry.
There has been numberous of discussions between me and my friends whether playing FeralHeart makes you a furry or not.

In my opinion, I do not consider myself a furry. Nor do many of my friends on FeralHeart. I don't believe there's anything wrong with wanting art of the character you have on FH that represents yourself.
I don't think there's anything wrong with being a furry, that's not why I'm making this thread.
The reason is simple curiousity as to how many people on here do not consider themselves a furry, even though the game is seen as a furry game.

There are multiple people out there who argues that "You're playing a furry game, therefore you're a furry."
For people like me, that's not the case at all. I may be on the game and I enjoy it, yes.
I've grown attached to my characters and I enjoy making more, because I have had some of them for approximately 4 years now.
I have characters that represent myself, some may call it OC or fursona. I honestly haven't grasped the terms properly because I've never been interested in these things before I found FeralHeart.

I am here for the community and the people for various of reasons.
I enjoy the looks of my characters, but I leave it there.
Yes, I see my characters as my own creations and that they belong to me because they represent me.

Do I really have to have a discussion/argument with people because they claim I'm a furry even though I don't consider myself as one? If I felt like I was a furry, I'd admit that?

I know I'm not alone in this..
So. I have a few questions.

What is a furry to you?
Do you consider yourself as a furry?
Do you have friends who play FeralHeart that don't consider themselves as a furry?
Do you believe playing FeralHeart makes you a furry?
Why do YOU enjoy FeralHeart?

Praise / Valentines Day

I am sure nobody has missed the fact it's Valentine's Day.
Some of us are not in a relationship, but shouldn't be sad just because that is the case.
We still have our friends and family. We also have this wonderful  (yet, sometimes rather... strange..) community. <3

I hope you all have a great day. c:
And if you don't have a Valentine.. You can be mine. -eyebrow wiggle.- 8D

Discussion Board / How to: Pass time. [Updated 12/05]

Passing Time

In times of the server being offline, or perhaps simply not feeling up for doing anything related to FeralHeart all of us need some kind of out-let which may not involve spending times with friends and family.
Sometimes it might also be difficult to figure out what to do.
Therefore I decided to make a list of things you can do online.

FeralHeart Related Tutorials
Movies, TV Series and books
Browser and other Free Games
Youtubers, let's play's and other entertainment

If anyone has further suggestions, let me know and I'll add them to the post.

Discussion Board / Positive thoughts.
« on: November 25, 2015, 01:43:44 pm »
So, you can really pick up a lot by sitting around on FH and watching local fly by, as well as speaking to a lot of different people.
One thing I've really noticed, especially recently, is that a lot of people seem to have difficulties seeing the positive things, whether it's in life or in something they've done.

There's so much of "I'm not good at this." or "I can't do that." around.
You might not be good at this, or that, or able to do this/that, but look at the things you CAN do, and the things you can learn.

I am not going to lie, I used to be a full-on pessimist and I despised when people were positive around me.
However, after experiencing new things, travelling, living on my own and much more, I seem to have adapted to my own personality and found things I really like about myself.
It's not until now I realize why teachers always do this whole "Say 3 good things about yourself" or about someone else.

I want you to do this.
Give me a list of at least five positive things about yourself, and if you want, about someone you've met/a friend.

One thing I am always going to preach, which is one thing my mother taught me when I started doing something new.
(I work extra at her job as a florist.)
Even if you're not happy with your work, there's always going to be someone who loves what you've done.

I shall start with a few positive things about myself.

1. I'm friendly towards anyone who hasn't harmed me or my friends.
2. I'm loyal and stick up for my friends, unless I do not agree with their ways.
3. I'm forgiving, apologize to me and prove you've changed, and it's forgotten.
4. I spread positive energy around me. I'm easy-going and non-judgemental, therefore people find it easy to speak to me. I'm very open-minded. c:
5. I'm a vent-box. I carry on a lot of secrets and opinions, but they never come out, as I never feel the need to talk about 'em. It's not my place to speak of them.
6. I'm fairly ok with explaining things, sometimes I tend to draw things out quite a bit because I want myself to be fully understood. Me explaining something that happened earlier in the day or week and I'll end up writing a bloody story about it because I don't know if people will understand unless they have the full context.
7. I'm short. Hey, short girls are cute, right? c'8
