Two different sides on a preset?
« on: September 16, 2011, 02:29:57 pm »
Okay, so I (finally) figured out how to make (rather simple) presets. And while I was looking through some presets I found on dA, I noticed that some of them had two different sides. I don't know how to explain it.. They had, for example, a marking on the right side of the body / head that wasn't on the left side. Or the eyes had different colors. Things like that.
And I was wondering if someone of you could tell me what I have to do to make a preset like that.

First of all you have to make 2 different image, one with the colors/markings for left side, and one for the right side.
Name them to example presetright_3body and presetleft_3body. If you want to the head name it to presetright_3head and presetleft_3head.

Then open the material file as notepad and change name in the coding.

Do I have to do the same thing for the eyes?

You're welcome.
Yes, but name them to presetleft_3eye, presetright_3eye
