I have an issue...

When I open the game, it seems fine until the second loading screen(the one with the Ogre logo and other logos). After that one disappears, the game crashes. What can I do to solve this? And also, if I have to re-install the game, would I lose my characters, friends, downloaded maps, and presets?

You can try to restart your computer.
And if that doesnt works I suggest you to reinstall the game, and you wont lose your characters, friends etc.
