FH+ not working right

ok so my friend told me she downloaded FH+ and so since i wanted it i got it. but when i got online everything was black exept the characters. i looked up in the help section to re download and it didnt work. what do i do?

Reset the home to bonfire and hit "go home". If this doesn't work then uninstall it and delete all of the files. This includes the original FH. Redownload and re-install.

ok ill try it, but on the first download bonfire island didnt show up when i hit that button. ill try it...

ok its still blank and when i press go to home it says return to ? so i should re download the FH+ and regular FH?

I'm still trying to figure out why this keeps happening. No matter what i try I can't get it to happen to me...hang in there, we're working hard to figure this out!

ok, but what really bugs me about this is that i did the exact thing my friend did and first time it worked out fine for her
