New patch - music
« on: June 29, 2011, 07:49:23 pm »
Not really a problem, more a question XD

with the new patch, you can add music to your map without it being connected to an object.
I added a music file at my map and on my pc it's working fine.
Now I exported that map for testers, but they don't here the music.

the music file wasn't in the download, so I suppose you also need to add the music file in the download?
that it not get exported with the map?

if so, do you need to place the music in export or the sound folder?

There is a folder just for music~

when you place them in the music folder, they don't work ...
they are in my sound folder, and they work there ...
it's just like the with the map pack that you had to move the music from the music to the sound folder.

I had the same issue with the music only playing when it's in the sounds folder.

I also had a question related to the music option. It says "group or filename." How do you get it to recognize a group of music? I have seven tracks I want for my map, but I don't know what I'm supposed to place in the text box for it to recognize that. Help, please?

I just know that when I added music to either the sounds or the music folder, i would come out horrid and sound like nothing even related to music. :-\
