Missing Map Server?

I have tried for about a day now to get on FH and or FH+. I can log in and select a character, but once I hit the start button. all I get is "Cannot connect to map server. retry?" I'll try and click Retry, and nothing happens (I've left this option open for an hour once). I'll hit Cancel, and go back to the login screen and try again.
I've restarted my computer, I've left it alone to cool down, I've uninstalled and reinstalled FH. Nothing works.  Help?

Are the characters you're trying to get on in Ficho Caverns? Nobody can seem to connect there. :/

Thanks. that worked! I remade my characters and that seemed to work. I got to the South Pole... now if I try to go any where else the main server kicks me out. T_T
