Exporting maps

Ok, I found one other topic on this and tried it, but it didn't work. It was saving the map and restarting FH, then exporting it. Whenever I try to export my map it fails. It is my first one, and I don't know how to share and use it. Please help. It would be much appreciated.

I had the same trouble with my first map, but I can't remember what exactly was wrong or how I fixed it... Just remember to save your objects with a specific name and group, so that they aren't confused with the standard game files. I don't know how that would help, but it's good to keep things organized. -shrug- =/

I can say that once you have it all working, you upload your exported map files - the .fhm, .fho, .fhs, and .fhw (if you have all of those) - to a site like Mediafire or Sendspace and then give your friends the link. They will download those files and put them in their Exports folder, and the portal to the map will show up at the Cape.

Sorry I can't be of more help.
