Friend has Feral hearts+ yet not none plus and is stuck.

Well it's simple really. Friend can't put on none plus version because of errors (probably due to her comp). The error is as follows.

The setup files are corrupt. Please obtain a new copy of the download files.

And that was on 1%. She tried the mirror. Same thing. 2% this time.

She might (MIGHT) be able to get it on eventually if she keeps trying (it took her over 5 hours to put on FH+. That is definatly her connection because she has 2 gig ram and a good graphics card with pixal shadrer 3 support). So I thought of something. All that needs to be done is for her to change her home (only she can't because she can't set a home in the black void she's in and that I have been in). The way I did it was to put on the none plus feral hearts and set home on that to bonfire island after moving there then load up feral hearts+ and it worked fine.

So keeping that in mind, what needs to be done is simple yet can not be done by her because she can not set her hom in the plus version yet untill she is in a map that is in the plus version (worked fine for me after so logic surggests that it will for her too).

So that leaves one of three possibilities.

1: a mod sets her home as bonfire island (or any existing map on the plus version). Her user name is Tonii and her character name is Amber. I can say that because when logged in it's public info (and also have her permission to do. ^_^]

2: she keeps trying to install which will take awhile if it even works. Boy I hope it does if that's the only option. >_<

3: She somehow sets her home in the game files somehow. I have looked around the game files for a way to set where home is but have not found a way.

So is there anyone that can help? I'd really appreciate if someone could help me get my gal on the game because I only found it a few days ago and want her to be on it with me. If any mods can help out then please PM her on the site (or post here if it will help others in future for that matter). Anyone else, just post here and lend a paw.

Arrr well. That's rather unfortunate. It's definitely a problem with the download when it tells you that the setup files are corrupt. All she has to do is redownload until the installer downloads completely, and then the normal FH will be installed via that. You might have her try the torrent version. Download utorrent first by clicking here: http://www.utorrent.com (It's free, so no worries.)
As for the blackness that you're in, pressing B can get you to where you need to be to reset your home. You may also check out Sameth's thread in the Member Made Tutorials section of the forum (I'd get the link for you but I don't have it memorized and I'm on mobile right now... however, it's easy to find.)
Also, I don't believe a mod would be able to set her home for her, but you could by simply logging onto her account and setting it for her.

If it was a simple matter clicking on the box and typing in home she would habe done it. The problem is that while in the black area, the name is not there and can't seem to be clicked (though you can click on set home but since you can't click on the name area, it's somewhat pointless).

If pressing B teleports you around then I suppose that could work. I'll get her to do that when she gets back on the comp As for mods, I assume they have access to passwords, which is why I thought one might be able to help out. If the download option is the only way then I guess I just have to hope that the torrent one works and doesn't come up with an error like the others. Odd how it happens on the none plus version yet the plus one downloads fine (even though it was hours for such a small file. @_@).

Well I'll post if the B idea works or not. They really should set people in bonfire island by default rather then the black area that isn't in that. Especialy since the none plus version wasn't even on to begin with. >_<
