How can i make a profile pic simple?

Hi am having trouble making a profile pic can someone help make it very simple for me to understand please and thank u

To get an avatar, you go to:

Profile >> Forum Profile settings >> Profile picture.
You can either upload a picture via an uploading site (wwwBannedImageSite or www.imageshack.com) and copying the picture URL into the open http space.
OR, you can upload one from your file, so you click 'Browse Folder' and find one that way.
