Does anyone know?....
« on: March 18, 2012, 02:23:56 pm »
Right, im not new here i just don't come on alot.
Anyways...
i recently stumbled across this game on my travels across the interenet called WOLF
It's a simulation game and seems pretty good.
i decided it would be a good idea to have a play and see if I like it, however after downloading it and trying to play it with a DOSbox the trouble started.
fortunatly whenever i type in the commands
mount c C:/WOLF
C:
WOLF
the game is fine up until then
after that, it flashes up a screen telling me:
"Thank you for playing WOLF!
unbale to register music data for file"
then nothing, if anyone knows how to fix this problem please help me, i would really like to play this game!!

It's three a.m, so I got quickly bored of looking for a solution to your problem, but I found these posts on a forum where the game was located via a Google search. Seems you have to let the music play out and the game load? I don't really know, seeing as I haven't ever played this. I assume if you look through those forums enough you'll find the answer to your problem, assuming it's not you just being impaitent and not waiting for the game to load via the DOSbox. Also, if you don't know how to work that, I've included a Wiki-thread on it.

Instead of typing in the command prompt, try dragging you wolf application over the dosbox icon, and it'll run it automatically. I don't know if this will solve your problem, I know I had a sound related problem with wolf too but I can't remember how I fixed it...
