Material is Basewhite
« on: April 19, 2012, 08:58:49 am »
I downloaded some meshes and they worked fine. But when I typed in the material it came up with basewhite. The mesh worked fine, but the material doesn't. It comes up white or the file can't be found. What can I do?

I typed it in correctly, made sure it was in the my_objects folder and I made sure the textures were there. Still doesn't work.

The material file might be damaged, but that's unlikely. Or maybe you downloaded meshes that were already in an object group. If you show us what you downloaded it could help us answer your question a lot easier.

Make sure you're typing in what the files are listed as under the material files, not just what they're called in your folder, also. Also like Skip said, some telling of which meshes you downloaded is helpful.
