Height Map freezes game.

Every time I try to load up a height map, it freezes the game and I have to quit and restart. Is there any way to fix this?

Some times when I try to load a height map some of the files that i need are missing so it crashes on me. Or the height pic i make in paint or gimp was not saved as a .png file and might not load right.

You have to make sure your height map is done in grey scale and has to be 513 by 513 pixels and also MUST be saved as a PNG file or else it will crash your game.

I am guessing that your are trying to apply the height map to a adjusted map size. if you are just upload it too a default map size and slowly change it to the size you want. this way it will keep computer stress down and simple, also only have Fh running the more programs you have running the less your computer can do.
