FeralHeart Loading Crash

I downloaded FH and it installs just fine, but when I click the desktop icon it brings up the OGRE Rendering Setup, right?

But, sometimes it only allows OpenGL, and other times only allows Direct3D9.

I click okay, it brings up the box for where it would normally load, then just closes as if it was never clicked. It does this every time.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled over 3 times.

Hm..have you tried running the game as an Administrator?
Right-click the FH icon and select 'Run as an administrator' and see if it fixes your problem.

Is there any specific error message?

First try running the game as an admin (As Bouncy said) Sometimes that's one of the simplest solutions to that problem.

If that doesn't work maybe try changing your Rendering Subsystem. Since your game crashes before it even starts refer to this:

Sometimes you aren't able to even enter the game, and all you can hear is the menu music, or it just crashes directly after launch. Those who experience this can enter the feralheart folder located in C:\FeralHeart at standard, find the file called "Ogre.cfg" and open it with wordpad.

This file works just as the ingame options menu, but instead of buttons and sliders, there's text.

What we're interested in is the top row


Set the top row text so it is just like in the picture with the text

Save the file, and close it. Next time you run the game it should boot with the new settings you applied.

There's no error message at all. It just closes randomly. I can't run as administrator because my dad messed up my computer.

I also changed the OGRE.cfg file like you said and it's still doing it.

Perhaps you need to adjust your video card. If your video card isn't able to actually project the visual game on the monitor then it will crash. I do sugest you try to get on your computer as administrator and try to fix the video card settings from there
