Please help for the love of FeralHeart!

So I suddenly can't open FH. Whenever i try to open it as soon as it comes up with the first screen it says FeralHeart.exe has stopped working. I've tried opening it with Direct3d9 and OpenGL and none of them work!! Please help I want to play FeralHeart!!!

Ok i fixed it. Was having duplicate particles.

Is there any other way to fix it? I have a ton of files that I would lose, I know I could make a backup folder but sometimes its one file that screws up the whole thing, and sometimes I need that file. >_<

Go into your FH folder and click media-->particles. If there are any particles that end with _0 or _1 or _0_1 or anything like that then delete them. Then try opening your game again.

I'm having the same problem and I've tried both those things but nothing seems to be working. Got any other ideas or ways to make it work? Or maybe something you think I could be doing wrong while trying to fix it? :c

Have you tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling it?

Particles with doubles can pop up in all of the below places, so check them all. Will have _0 _1 _2 etc at the end.
