Pack Map not working
« on: August 04, 2012, 10:14:59 pm »
My pack had me download a map for Feral Heart and I installed it. When I tried to go in, the game crashed, and when I try to reopen the character the game crashes. A friend gave me a different map to try out and it has the same problem... What's wrong?

Make sure you .particle files don't have any doubles, like things with a (0) or (1) or whatever.

Or, try getting rid of the most recent map you've downloaded, the first link you got, I think just the .fhm file would be good enough, but it isn't then try deleting all filed associated with the map.

I hope this helps~ X3

There may be a lot of lag in the maps, too much for your computer to handle. Try turning off your water reflection (Options>>Video>>Water Reflection) and turning your view distance down (Options>>Video>>View Distance). It might help. Its a common problem i would say for map lag to cause crashes.
Will be inactive due to work and exams.

I tried that second idea earlier. There are no doubles and I even went so far as re-installing FH. I'll try the turning off the water reflection thing. That might be it.

Do the maps have custom weather in them?
