Height-maps
« on: August 12, 2012, 05:46:23 pm »
Whenever I try to use one of the height maps in my terrains folder, my game freezes. All of my height maps are 513x513 and greyscale (and one layer), so I don't know why they crash.    :(

Try switching from .jpg to .png or the other way around, saving it as a new heightmap.

When your saving it, a little box might come up with two choices-

'Merge Visable Layers'
and
'Flatten Layers'
click the 'Flatten Layers' box and save. You should be good to go~

Also, make sure there is no Alpha Channel. (Transparency)
